Well I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such a strange waitress.. I ordered a tortilla and she asked if I wanted cutlery.. I of course said yes (thinking what am I going to eat it with? My fingers? Then I’m sat for about 40 minutes waiting for tortilla (about 10 people in the place no more) then I ask if my food will be long.. She literally looked at me and thought I just wanted the cutlery..cuchillería/ tortilla sounds the same apparently.. why would I just want to sit with cutlery and not eat? ahh... my neighborhood kills me with its dizzying selection of spots like these which make it all too tempting to do all of my coffee drinking away from home! the menu is only in catalan(the guy working there told me the owners are hardcore), but the music is old-timey american.... huh. the design is just beautiful, tons of light streaming in, and lovely old pieces of furniture incorporated into a somehow modern-feeling room. the ceviche is excellent, as are the croissants. service is slightly snarky, i get a little bit of a 'boys club' feeling here from...

Food was okay. Not to mention, the clam had full of sand with it. so be aware! nothing really special about the rest of the menu. A long wait time for anything. Staff were not very helpful either. Servers made so many mistakes giving a wrong menu and giving another wine that I did not order. By the way, the house red wine was really watery. Taste pretty flat. I would not even drink that wine again even for free. Plus, the bartender did not even look at me and said thanks at the checkout. Waste of...
