Rebeca Alemeny the on site manager for this restaurant. While my wife and I went for dinner they were closed so my wife stayed and I went to the restaurant next door to ask if they are still open. As I am walking back to bring my wife I see the manager arguing with my wife. Apparently this manager Rebeca did not like my wife sitting there for 2 minutes when the restaurant was 80% empty and told her if you are not buying something then to leave. My wife felt offended and said that we came with the intention to have dinner and you are closed so what is the problem for us to sit couple of minutes and instead of taking it professionally like any good manager would. She instead closed the umbrella of the table on her and told her if you don’t move you will get hurt. This was not minutes before closing time, this was done intentionally for us to move. This manager had no respect for the customer even when what she is suggesting doesn’t make sense and even after pointing out to her she should have kept professional about it and not acting this way. The owner of the restaurant and hiring team should be ashamed of employing someone like Rebecca. She belongs in a strip joint at the door not in a supposedly higher...
Read moreCame here for lunch for my first ever meal in Barcelona as it was recommended by one of our friends who is a local. The ambiance and area of the restaurant is truly beautiful and I loved sitting in the sun! We were starving so we ordered lots of share! We got the eggplant hummus which was so delicious, the stracciatella salad which I really enjoyed and the tomato bread for starters. Then we had to order a paella, and so we got the artichokes and cuttlefish one which I really loved and it was my first time having paella!! It was so delicious. I also had the salmon which came with some sort of puree and it was to die for! I wish we could come back because I really enjoyed my meal here. We got the apple tart to share for dessert and it was also a great way to end such a great meal. The staff and service was amazing and everything came quickly ( expect for the paella obviously...
Read moreFor those after a relaxing culinary experience along one of the harbour fronts in BCN we would highly recommend a lunch or dinner at Camping Mar (be careful not to fall in the trap to end up having your lunch or dinner at the Italia restaurant located above Camping Mar, which attracts visitors with some musicians at the entrance to their restaurant, something which happened to us when we visited the place for the first time) As mentioned a harbour front location with contemporary mediterranean interior design. All relevant anti-covid-19 precautions in place Welcome was friendly and service pleasant and efficient Menu was attractive and food served was very tasteful, well presented, at the right temperature and served with the right timing...whatever dish we ordered was ready in the kitchen was served at the table Definitely a place where...
