There are some things wrong with San Sebastian Beach: The beach is really crowded with tourists, the place is a bit unsecure (just as most places of Barcelona nowadays), the surroundings are ridiculously expensive. On my advise, I recommend to leave the beach just as you finished swimming or you had enough of chilling on there and travel by public transport to a small neighbourhood in the high part of Barcelona and eat in whatever bar you find, it’s going to be the most authentic and spanish food...
Read moreIt is the city beach of San Sebastian. For a city beach it is pretty ok, definitely better than the city beaches I have seen in South of Spain. The islands on the background make a cool photo spot. The tides change a lot during the day, in the afternoon the beach strip was much smaller. It got very full on the weekend! Nice atmosphere.
