Can Tresó — Restaurant in Barcelona

Came here to celebrate my bday. It's a cosy bar with nice ambience. The food was actually nice here, however.... the customer service is the worst I've had so far.

The waitress threw our plates onto the table and at one point walked into me with a plate with full force, looked at me as if I was in the way and walked off. It really hurt my shoulder 😢

Situations like this makes me think that maybe the owners are not treating the staff well or pay them enough. They seemed frustrated, angry and overworked 🤷🏻‍♀️ or maybe it was a one day thing.

Unfortunately I would not be returning.... Or recommend others to come here.

One of the best places in Barcelona! I am surprised to see they don't have 5 stars. While the interior design might not be the most fashionable (the place looks like a typical local "taverna"), the food they serve is delicious. I have been there for lunch and dinner many times. They have a small standard menu of tapas and a menu they create with seasonal ingredients. This "seasonal" menu changes each week and is yummy and creative. The wine selection is great, too. Sophisticated cuisine at Can Treso in Vila de Gracia is a hidden gem. Their menu del dia featured starters like beet root carpaccio, pasta with fresh tomato sauce, or a lighter, fresher onion soup with a whole egg dropped in adding a richness I found delicious. I had baccala with mole sauce for my second and my friend a gallatina which turned out to be flat fish in a rich sauce. Dessert was mango panna cotta or carrot cake.
