For eating in, I recommend. For delivery, I cannot stress highly enough that the service is absolutely deplorable. Food typically arrives at least one hour after ordering "now" and today I ordered food for 14:15, ordered before 13:00, and as I write it is after 16:15, food over two hours stuck in status "ready for pickup", and the restaurant not answering the phone.
Edited to add more details as requested by owner: Delivery requested through website for Asturias location. The website appears to use Cheerfy software, but the final delivery always came from Stuart. Later that day I passed by restaurant. The staff were initially defensive and aggressive, as the food was indeed ready for pickup but no delivery person had arrived. I pointed out that I had requested and paid for delivery through their own website, but the staff would not give a refund. Instead, they took my email and promised a manager (Diego?) would be in touch. Nobody ever contacted me by email or phone. Two days later, on a Sunday morning, the food unexpectedly arrived, with no explanation. The second person who was with me on Friday was not there on Sunday. My 9yr old daughter, who was with me on Friday, ended up eating whatever I could put together in 5m as she was starving by the time I finally realised the food was really not coming.
Time has passed. I'm no longer upset. However I think that the restaurant is using a delivery provider which failed badly, the restaurant, which was the my only contact, has neither raised the issue with their provider nor made any proper communication, compensation or even acknowledgement of the mistake to me, and I suggest that everyone order in person or for pickup, and never use the home delivery option, as even at the best of times the delivery delay was well beyond normal (at...
Read moreI ordered two plates for take away. They looked great when i looked in the bag walking out of the restaurant. However, the genius that packed the bags, placed my large pasta tray, on top of another tray half the size. This meant that my large pasta spent my short journey tilting and spilling all over my bag. This made a nice collection of pasta sauce which ripped the bag in the corner. destroying the food.
Who places or stacks a large item on-top a smaller item for anything? Especially when it is food. A child would know better and the staff here are paid to do this. I did not think I would have to inspect the packing of my food before i left. Now I will in every restaurant. This is complete human incompetence.
They would have been better off stacking the food upside-down or just throwing it in the bag without the trays like a bag of soup.
It does not matter how good the food or this place is, the fact is they cannot do simple things. Such as pack a bag correctly. This is not bad staff training, this is a lack of common sense.
Maybe if you look in the storage area of this restaurant there are heavy fruit boxes stored on top of soft cakes, or larger boxes on-top of smaller items crushing them, but that would not make...
Read moreThe place looks nice and the self service is shorten things up. However, the food was awful. The pasta was not cooked enough and dry, the meatballs that we were kind-of-forced to add to the dish were BAD (we didn’t understand if we should choose them as an ingredient or to add them as a topic, but the non-English cashier couldn’t explain to us. It’s a topic, btw, an extra pricy addition, not an ingredient....). We also ordered a Mediterranean salad, which the cashier made by herself in less than 10 seconds, adding 4 kinds of vegetables (big slices of tomato, lettuce, olives, and onion, along with feta cheese- which was definitely the cheapest they could find in the supermarket. She pored oil and vinaigrette and that’s it - a Mediterranean salad. No local touch, no extra value, not a single thought of how to make this salad rememberable. It wasn’t cheap (as the ingredients were) as well.. There are other good Italian restaurants around,...
