Casa Ines has undoubtedly good service and a very nice atmosphere, but when it comes to the food, I can’t say much good about it.
We ordered steak tartare and salmon tartare, both were completely under seasoned and tasteless, especially the salmon was very bad as they did not remove the brown parts of the fish which made it taste awful. On the salmon tartare the wasabi sherbet had no flavour besides being extremely sweet, which didn’t match with the dish. For these two dishes we were disappointed for the high price considering that they were not nice. We also had smoked leek, which did not taste smoky at all, overall really nothing special. The charred baby gem was again not remarkable at all. A small mediocre bao for 7.5 was the final disappointment.
We were so let down by the food quality that we just decided to leave without trying anything else ( the portions were pretty small). We did good because the bill was very high considering the food we got.. 80€. Wine glasses were also pretty small. If it was not for the great service, I would have not given such a generous rating. For this price, places like La Pepita and Paco Meralgo serve you much better.
I would be happy to try again once they improve on their...
Read moreI visited this restaurant last night and had a very pleasant evening! I have to say that I expected a little bit more of the food, it wasn’t bad but mosh dishes lacked flavor or were just cold.
The service and the atmosphere were absolutely perfect!!!
Most dishes were good but it was disappointing to receive hot dishes cold. We enjoyed the bread, the gildas and the sardines the most, absolutely delicious, but also these never touched the fire. Baos were just ok, they lacked flavor, a lot. The mushroom stew also lacked flavor, we expected tons of flavors having this mushroom dish, but it was just ok. The duck was absolutely delicious, incredibly balanced dish, but it lack temperature, it arrived cold at the table. Overall good experience but a bit disappointing. We ordered a couple of desserts and they were fantastic (the cheesecake and a lemon merengue with lemon and basil ice cream, my favorite of the night).
I will come back to some other dishes though, maybe fish dishes are a...
Read moreYesterday, we ended up at Casa Inés by accident, and we couldn’t have been luckier! The only tables available were in the bar (an indicator of the good reputation of the place), but we could not be more comfortable. The choice of dishes is very varied, and I personally recommend sharing some of their tapas or even a main dish (sharing is always more fun!). I really wanted to try their patatas bravas, but the ensaladilla rusa doesn’t disappoint. Not to mention how good is their burrata salad with cherry tomatoes, pesto and pistachios. For me, without a doubt, the star dish of the night was the truffled mushroom cannelloni. And let’s not forget dessert… their cheesecake leaves you speechless. I would like to make special mention of the waitress who served us (I forgot to ask her name), as she was very nice and attentive at all times. I’m sure I’ll be...
