As two Americans spending an extended stay in the beautiful city of Barcelona, we were on the lookout for an authentic "American-style" breakfast/brunch experience. Our search led us to Cinderella, and we couldn't be more delighted with our discovery.
From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reminded us of home. Jordan, the owner, is nothing short of a magical human being and an incredible host. His understanding of service and hospitality is exceptional, and his ability to connect with people is truly remarkable. He took the time to introduce himself and made sure we were not just satisfied but genuinely happy with our experience.
The food at Cinderella is simply outstanding. Every bite transported us back to the familiar flavors of American breakfasts, perfectly executed with a touch of Barcelona's charm. The pancakes were fluffy, the bacon crispy, and the coffee robust (a real iced coffee), everything we could hope for and more.
Roberto, our server, deserves special mention as well. He was sweet, patient, and attentive, ensuring that our meal was perfect from start to finish. His kind demeanor added to the overall wonderful experience.
Cinderella is not just a restaurant; it's a gem for anyone visiting Barcelona or living here as an expat. Jordan and his team have created a space where you can enjoy delicious food and feel right at home. It's a must-save favorite that we will undoubtedly return to time and again.
In summary, if you're in Barcelona and craving an authentic American breakfast with top-notch hospitality, Cinderella is the place to go. Thank you, Jordan and Roberto, for making our morning so special. We can't wait...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame for brunch on a Saturday as a hungry American family of 4. My daughter loved that it was called Cinderella and we found the atmosphere bright and cheery. Cappuccino and iced latte were delicious and my wife and I shared the waffles and fried chicken. The waffles were good but the fried chicken really stood out. The meat was juicy and tasty and the fried skin was moist, crispy, fluffy and with a few big grains of sea salt to balance the fat of the chicken and the sweet of the waffles. The kids shared the All American breakfast and the pancakes were on point, eggs nicely fried and bacon properly crisped. They really liked their fresh squeezed lemonade too. Service was great, portions were generous, and owner came by and was super nice to the kids. We will come back and try some of the other menu items, like Eggs Benedict and some California style salads and dishes. There was a big banquette set up for a group coming in, perhaps for bottomless mimosas, which looked super fun. Will have to return another day without the kids for that! Thanks for a nice Saturday morning,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can't recommend Cinderella's enough. The service from Jordan and team was beyond brilliant. We are in Barcelona to celebrate my sister's 50th and wanted a brunch before a few people needed to fly out, and we picked Cinderella's for a Sunday brunch. The restaurant, as soon as you walk in, has a great vibe and the best music. Service was impeccable, probably the best I've seen in a long time. We decided to have a bottomless brunch, and Jordan just hit the nail on the head in what his customers need. I had the chicken and waffle, and it was delicious. The serving size was way bigger than expected that I couldn't finish it. It's a place you don't feel that you must eat and be pushed out, which I absolutely hate. Jordan made everyone feel at ease and not rushed like you normally receive in busy restaurants. I really can not recommend this place enough. I'd happily spend more time here. If you're in barca, get a table booked because this was just the best service and fun I've had in a long time. Thank you, Jordan...
