Dolç Break — Restaurant in Barcelona

What a fabulous little ice cream shop! I discovered this place on a hot day after visiting the Barcelona Zoo - it is just a few minutes walk from the zoo, towards the Arc de Triomf. It is highly-rated on google (rightly so!). We got one each of the hazelnut and sugar-free dark chocolate on a waffle cone. Both the ice creams were the best we had during our stay in Barcelona (we did sample quite a few of the local gelateria). The waffle cone was amazing - crunchy and fresh. We ended up visiting the place once again. A special shout-out to the lovely owners - they were so warm and welcoming! The cookie added to the top of the ice cream is a very nice touch to round off the entire experience. This will be a staple of any and all future visits...

Absolutely awesome ice cream! I have had ice cream all over the world, also while in Barcelona we tried many different ice cream shops but none of them come even close to Dolc Break quality! The ice cream is super creamy, the flavors are really interesting and during our week long stay in Barcelona we managed to buy enough ice cream to get a loyalty card and win a free one :)) We tried the special taste of the day Lotus buscuits ( twice ), another awesome flavor was chocolate Suchard turons, also pistachio and caramel. This is my new favourite dessert place in Barcelona! My friend and I had the Lotus Biscoff icecream and it was amazing, I cannot believe it is home made! I also had one of the Nutella cookies (a la Gemma) which was honestly one of the nicest cookies I’ve ever had. It was so good I went back a few days later to get another few cookies😊. I will be coming back again!
