Wow ! What an incredibly rude member of staff here ! (with long dark ponytail) 14th May .. she was so blatantly unpleasant and unhelpful when I dared to ask for half a cup of hot water to top up my coffee, she turned away from me & spoke nastily at length to the lovely girl at the counter ! It was SO so rude ! then told me I would have to pay.. I had already paid for hot water with my coffee & only asked for a little top up ! but it was her attitude that was off putting! We had noticed on a previous visit a few months ago that she was unpleasant but we were still surprised at exactly how unpleasant she was (we visit Barcelona frequently & have always had amazing service everywhere else) We had lovely savoury & sweet pastries for our lunch, but we left this cafe absolutely gobsmacked & will definitely not return purely because of this.. she obviously thinks customers are...

Out of all the bakeries around this area, this is my favourite for breakfasts. It is one of the few that has XXL coffees and makes seasonal spiced Lattes or Mochas. Its assortment caters for those who have a sweet tooth (check out their Rosendo croissants) and those who might be on the healthy side with fresh fruit and natural yoghurts. If you are on the savoury side, you are covered with artisan breads made with sourdough starter and sandwiches that can be heated up or made on the spot. EXPENSIVE UNSAFE TOURIST TRAP. Really bad place, just good if you really want to spend a lot for really bad quality products. I can't understand how it's still open. Maybe cause the tourists that enter just without read the reviews. I bought just a (kind of) sandwich (for sure old and with a good flavor of paper) and a smoothies already expired. :) Well done, really good job! Only positive...
