If you’re exploring Park Güell and want a great local restaurant nearby, El Mirador is a hidden gem worth finding. The food is spot-on fresh, flavorful, and genuinely Spanish.
Their Pulpo Gallego a la Plancha (Grilled Octopus), Butifarra de Pagès (Catalan Sausage), and Pluma Ibérica con Guarnición (Iberian Pork) are absolute standouts. The Croquetas de Jamón Ibérico and Calamares Andaluza are also crowd favorites perfectly cooked and seasoned. For dessert, don’t skip the Coulant de Chocolate con Helado or the Tarta de Queso con Arándanos — both are exceptional.
A big shout-out to Ali, our waiter, whose service made the entire experience special. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind one of the best we’ve had in Barcelona.
Tip: Check their opening hours before visiting, as they don’t open daily or on a fixed schedule. It’s absolutely worth planning your stop great food, great service, and a truly...

We've been here several times amidst those crowds and the atmosphere was similar to a...
Read moreI went here with my boyfriend who had something seriously wrong with his beer. We sat and had one beer and some tapas here and decided to order a second drink. After he drank a few sips of his second beer he started feeling very weird and oddly drunk. He has quite a strong tolerance so to be feeling so drunk especially after eating a full meal is bizarre. We asked the staff about it and did not get any answers, which may have been due to language barrier. It’s possible it was spiked by someone who was not working behind the bar, but bottom line is we were served something which was definitely not just beer. Very strange...
