Fenícia — Restaurant in Barcelona

Being a vegetarian in a city where fish and ham is plenty, I was thrilled to find this Lebanese restaurant. Especially being Lebanese myself. Lovely Moroccan lamps hanging. I had the falafel platter. My husband had very similar to me except with lamb included. Our server never brought the rice I requested. But it was just as well because we had enough to eat. The pita was cold and didn’t seem freshly made. However, my husband asked for it to be warmed and they did. Our server wasn’t around for a while and another server then appeared. We did not have dessert. About and hour later, my husband started having gastric issues. And spent most of the night in the bathroom. We both had the same things on our plate except for the lamb. Which I deduced was the problem. We were flying back home and his stomach wasn’t right until after 36 hours. I had no issue with my falafel plate. I’m sorry this experience was not good for us. I ask that the owners check their meat for temperature and freshness. Presently, I can’t recommend...

Yo so to start off, I'm an American. I've had shawarma a good amount before though, and love all Mediterranean cuisine. I've been in Barcelona 1.5 weeks, and the night before I leave I realize there is a very well reviewed Lebanese spot 5 min from the Airbnb - decided I'd have a go. First I got the menu, of course it's in Spanish BUT my man Hasaan A) gave me the English menu and B) gave us recs that perfectly fit what we were looking for. Fenicia both brought out the food the quickest out of anywhere I've been to in Barcelona, and was the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. Hasaan provides impeccable customer service, and with the food this restaurant serves - you will be thoroughly pleased. This is your sign to come and eat here!! We had the super carn and veggie platter - great to try all the meats and the dips/veggie options for two (and you will still have leftovers). Food...

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! This restaurant has the best falafel in Barcelona🧆 I come here frequently for lunch and dinner with my partner. The service here is fantastic and the waiters are so friendly and attentive. You’re always greeted with a smile and treated like family ❤️

Everything on the menu is delicious but my favourite dish is the Plato Vegetal with fresh pita. The veg is so fresh and flavourful. The hummus and moutbal are so creamy, there’s never anything left on my plate! The price is so so good for the quality and quantity of food at Fenicia. Abdel was my server the last time I went and he was very organised and looked after my every need.
