I was impressed about this restaurant back in 2018. Amazing food and quality. But I went last week, and although the menu has changed a little bit the food is still very amazing. Now, the service either has changed or they do not want to be there. We were literally feeling that we were bothering them and wrong all the time if we had questions or wanted to add something in the order. When we went to order the deserts, we were full so we asked them if they could tell us how one particular desert was to see if we could split it or we needed to order 2. I just had dinner at Ken restaurant in Barcelona, and it was an excellent experience! The quality of the dishes is outstanding, noticeably better than at many Japanese restaurants I’ve been to many, including Nobu. I visited Ken on the recommendation of a local friend who lives in the neighborhood. I sat at the bar next to the grill, where you can watch the chefs preparing the food live. Japanese restaurant run by Chinese which is not that abnormal as it happens a lot nowadays. What is not normal is the price tag for this poor quality. Menu of 50 eur without drinks.
