Kibuka | Verdi — Restaurant in Barcelona

We came to dine in on a Monday at 3 PM, after the lunch hour rush. After ordering, my partner got all of his dishes while none of mine were served. For 45 mins I received no food and could not have anything he got (allergies). Then, 45 minutes into lunch, all three of my dishes came out at the same time. The noodles were good but the rolls were very dry and not flavorful so I left a bunch uneaten.

Edit: I cannot respond to the restaurant’s reply so need to edit the review. I made a mistake posting to the wrong Kibuka first, and when corrected, I found the correct Kibuka to post about - here. I have a receipt from that incident so - yes - I am sure it was a Kibuka. We were attended by two servers: a man and a woman. I received my roll nearly immediately after receiving the appetizer, so I waited for five minutes before starting to eat it but, upon insistence from my friend, I finished it. Little did we know it was going to be at least twenty minutes before she received hers (after asking another waiter about it). We ordered another roll and never received it. 30 minutes later, we asked for the check. We were voicing our complaints when "our waiter" came back and said that it wasn't a big deal to get the sushi rolls so far apart because we ordered them to share ( we didn't- I ordered the edamame para compartir and then I said para mi- ...y para ellla...). Amazing plac with very good food and very good customer service.

Negatives: Bathroom without platform to change baby.

Positivs: All sushis wre absolutely amazing and cooked perfctly.

We asked for: Spicy Tori Uramaki: can be quite spicy if you are not used to that, but me as Mexican it was very tasty

Hot Philadelhpia Roll: for the first time i can say a Hot sushi that i would like to order again, very good size and very good presentation

Aburi Uramaki: was quite good and the flamed saumon with langostino was insane.

For dessrt we had Tarte Tatin, served with milk instad of ice cream but very tasty still.
