La Brillantina — Restaurant in Barcelona

If you're thinking about trying this place out, just do it, you won't regret it in the slightest! One of the best surprises we have encountered in a long time. Our entire walk home we couldn't stop reminiscing on the experience, the flavors, the service and the overall ambience. Anybody who gives this place less than 5 stars has issues or takes their rating too seriously. This is a 5 star place, hands down. The prices are beyond fair with such clean presentation, original ideas and elaborate flavors, plus a complementary chocolate and coffee infused negroni at the end. Amazing experience!

I found out about La Brillantina from a Time Out article describing the latest most exciting restaurants in Barcelona.

This place certainly did not disappoint!

The food was excellent, incredibly tasty!

They describe their food as being from Latin America and there is a variety of plates but I can see their Argentinian and Colombian inspirations the most.

Their drinks, their plates to share, their mains, their desserts (and even their shots), everything is delicious and traditional.

I went with friends from different Latin American backgrounds and they absolutely loved it!

This place was literally 30 seconds from my hotel so I passed by it innumerable times before finally paying attention to it. Decided to go my second to last evening, and wished I had found it sooner - it was by far the best meal I had eaten in those five days, and I would have gone twice! I had two small plates and a dessert (this girl was hungry). Each dish had such an unusual combination of flavors that really worked. The wait staff was really kind with my broken Spanish.
