La Montiel37 — Restaurant in Barcelona

Food was average but the attention of the bald guy who is waiter and at the front desk at the same time has no explanation. When you talk to him he barely answers, my friends and I asked for a table and there were plenty of space but he said everything was reserved, at the end nobody arrived and he didn’t offered to accommodate us in a different space, instead, he was always launching the door behind me and I was afraid it was going to break at some point. Awful attention and in consequence an almost empty bar. I don’t know if he is the owner but hopefully not or it is...

Fuimos a celebrar el cumple de 2 amigos, precio y menú pactado para ambos grupos 27€ con 2 bebidas incluidas, los nachos para compartir horrorosos, de bolsa, con una cucharada de guacamole tirada por encima de los nachos y un poco de tomate picado. Los primeros, ensalada y la coca "bien" la pasta un horror solo verla, pasada, te la servian que parecia la bandera de Japon, en el centro la salsa roja y la pasta seca y pasada. Los segundos!!empeoraba la situacion, wok de pollo y verduras con arroz, el pollo brillaba x su ausencia y lo pror para mi fue cuando me sirvieron "las fajitas de secreto iberico con vermut" un horror!! Con este plato ya me sentí estafada esas fajitas estaban rellenas con un poco de lechuga, arroz( para rellenar las fajitas con algo) y 3 trocitos de una carne cualquiera...EN MI VIDA HE COMIDO FAJITAS CON ARROZ!! ( ni las comi, en el plato se quedaron).Vamos un timo!! Luego pido a la camarera ( bastante antipatica al servir te tiraba las cosas en la mesa) le pregunto x un cocktel sin alcohol y me dice san francisco o ñiña colada, le pido piña colada y me pone san francisco xq se equivocó, por cierto horrible tambien! Me levanto de los sofas todos rotos donde estabamos sentados con las piernas negras llenas de trozos del sofá....NO PEGAIS UNA, OBVIAMENTE NO VOLVERÉ NI LOS RECOMENDAREMOS. TOTAL PAGUÉ 30€ por comer 4 lechugas 4 trocitos de la carne de las fajitas, eso si algo a favor, las 2 coca cola zero q tome estaba...

Ordered the Steak Tartar but there was no tartar, so they told me that and gave me fries instead. Lack of communication, but accepted as it was late and I was hungry.

Point of the meat was very good but some parts with hard gristles were not that easy to eat. Fried too oily as you can see in the pic.

I would like to go back and try other stuff from the menu but first experience didn’t...
