I had the pleasure of visiting this shop twice on a recent trip to Barcelona - the second trip was planned in spontaneously after an incredible first experience! The shop itself is very aesthetic but does have little seating. The doughnut variety it huge, which made it difficult to pick due to the range of beautiful flavours! On my first trip I chose the lemon cheesecake - this is one of the best doughnuts I have ever had (and I am a doughnut fan over most other baked goods). The doughnut dough itself is so incredibly soft, light, and flavourful. It has a light glaze and the powdered sugar offered some additional sweetness (within the top 3 doughnut doughs i have had in my life, easily). The cheesecake filling is a beautifully smooth consistency, with a distinct cheesecake flavour. This perfectly complimented the lemon (cream?) which was distributed through this. Honestly - an incredible experience! The second time I got the blueberry cheesecake doughnut, which was also incredible though I felt the blueberry could have been a little stronger (or more of it!). The service was super warm and friendly, on both occasions. My friend also got an iced latte, which he said was very good! This tiny place is the little sister of the main shop in Gracia. Owned by an expatriate greek, offers the opportunity to taste the most delightful variety of lukumas, which is greek for donats. Be sure to taste the lemon 🍋 or the strawberry 🍓 and chocolate one! As if this wasn't enough reason to visit, they offer what is a real rarity in Barcelona: Espresso and Cappuccino Freddo, which is cold coffee with frosty beaten cream and ice cubes. First visit was great - their donuts are to die for.

Unfortunately I've been back half a dozen times now and thy never have any donuts in stock.

I'm not being funny... they are a donut shop... that doesn't sell donuts past 1pm. They open till 8pm.

Knowing how little confectionaries actually cost to make I wonder why they don't just make more and take a hit if they don't sell out.

Instead they are selling out at midday and not bothering to make any more.
