MAMA la pizza napoletana — Restaurant in Barcelona

BY FAR one of the the best pizzas I (and my girlfriend) have ever had!

We were cautious when coming here because some of the reviews gave over-the-top praise (someone even said it was the best pizza in Europe - which I thought "YEAH RIGHT!?")... but holy moly is the pizza ever incredible! I don't know if it's the best in Europe (because I haven't been everywhere in Europe) but it is one of the best pizzas (if not the best) pizzas I've ever had in Canada, Switzerland, France and the US. The dough was incredible, toppings were on point and our waiter & waitress were nice as well. We ordered the house wine, which was nice as well - but didn't floor me as much as the pie.

10/10 I would recommend this place and I cannot wait to go...

This place is such a dishonest mess. I came for a takeaway, they made me wait outside in the cold for 30 minutes, they handled the order of about 6 people who ordered after me – when I went inside to ask about my order they gave me it, but when I stepped outside and checked it was the wrong pizza. I then go back inside to tell them about it, they don't acknowledge it. I ask for a refund but then they try to give me less money in return than what I paid for. I had to ask for an apology. Really...

Food was good and tasty, but staffs are very differentiating in their behaviour. When we entered the lady on counter said no seats. But the other staff came and said there is. When we went up there were plenty seats. The serving person banged the food plate on the desk. I hated the attitude to be little the people based on their colour and ethnicity. However, this attitude costed her as she dropped a tray filled with plates and glasses. Somewhere I in my heart I didn't feel that...
