Espai Bombers: Parc de la Prevenció — Attraction in Barcelona

A small museum of the history of the Barcelona Fire Department [Bomero(a)s]. While there are not a lot of physical items on display, the museum has augmented them with over a dozen multimedia exhibits.

The most unusual item is the fire helmet stretcher, which is used when wet leather helmets would shrink. Really.

Seems to me that Barcelone FD had an extremely poor equipment purchase spec process.
