Disgusting thieves! I can't wait to make my youtube review. I got my phone stolen from the bathroom 2 days ago May 4th at 4:25 p.m. I paid for a 1200 Euro conference and had the worst treatment ever. I was only in the bathroom for less than 2 minutes. I left my phone and pen on the counter and cleaning staff came in and stole it. Unfortunately I let my guard down because of the prestige of the attendees. When I went to the manager and asked if he could check the cameras because he was literally right in front of the monitors, he said he won't do anything without a police report. So I went to the police and filed a report, even they were surprised when I told them where this had happened. I brought my report back to the manager and he still refused to look at the cameras. He was protecting his thieving staff. I told another staff member and she rolled her eyes at me when I told her I won't be able to show my bus ticket. She said "do you have your passport?" I said yes and she said, "you'll be fine." in a very condescending/mocking tone. I cannot believe hotel staff treated me so poorly. I already knew barcelona has the highest petty theft in the world, I was just naive enough to believe it...
Read moreI attended an event here with a full auditorium of spectators, capacity I'd guess a 1000 people. A venue with such a high capacity, yet just 10 female toilets, over two levels. 3rd level, 5 more toilets were reserved for gold members. Who designed a huge conference centre with such limited toilets? Also, there is no cafe onsite, or close by! There was just 1 drink machine, which was out of water. The closest cafe is a 7-minute fast-paced walk.
I have no idea how the venue has good reviews when basic standards are not met - toilets and water...pretty essential! If you come to the venue, bring your own food and drink, as most of your time will be spent in line for...
