My initial decision was primarily influenced by the favorable reviews I found on the google maps platform which, I now suspect, might have been sponsored. While the hotel is excellently located, its actual condition leaves much to be desired. Upon my arrival, I was confronted with the disheartening reality of a room infested with mold in the bathroom and a bathtub that refused to drain. To my dismay, the second room they moved me to wasn’t much better. The entire hotel appeared run down, evidently crying out for some maintenance and general upkeep. More frustratingly, the warm water supply was exhausted by 7:00 am, forcing me to shower with cold water, which is far from ideal. Instead of a meaningful solution, the hotel staff’s response was to instruct me on how to operate the tap, as if the issue was a misunderstanding on my part rather than an infrastructure problem. Adding to the linguistic barriers, a cleaning lady was dispatched to address some of my concerns, but she couldn’t communicate in English, which made the process even more challenging. In light of these experiences, I believe that the rating and representation of B Hotel on Google Maps are misleading and do not reflect the current condition of the establishment. And how do I know the misleading part? I've switched rooms and the second room was only slightly better.

I had to changed 3 rooms in this hotel being tired after flight. The first room 408 was dirty with other visitors hair in bath and dust on surfaces. The plumbing was rusty and damaged, bath had scratches. In general this room has to be renovated, because it has scratches on the furniture and the metals are rusty. I asked stuff whether all of the rooms are in the same condition, a nice girl on the reception was really wondered about condition of the room and provided me another. When I entered room 302 it was in same awful condition with the same problems. Then I asked to change the room again if there are a better one. They provided another key, number 201 was better because this number had a shower instead of bath, but scratches were on all furniture. I returned other keys and decided to stay in the number 201. Guy on reception wanted to see the problems in room. I showed him damaged sink. He told me this is design, it could be designed but I asked whether other problems are design too. He propose me to meet his boss next day and talk to him. So that means, that visitors should spend their vacation to resolve the hotel problems. Such a sad story how I first time in my life afforded to pay 100 euros for the hotel room. I would not recommend this hotel to not lose your money, time and mood.

This hotel was probably cool and modern when first open. Today, at least our room (602) was completely worn out and poorly maintained. Check in was OK and I was happy that the hotel had been attentive with my request of placing us in a room away from the street hustle and higher up. Got a corner room and on the 6th floor (out of 7). However, the metro running could be heard (and felt) all the time, making impossible to rest at night for me as a light sleeper. In addition the first morning maintenance started to talk loud in the corridors (everything could be heard) and drill next door at 8.30am!!! Housekeeping also talking loud outside in the corridor the second morning. All this while having the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. What a disaster... The room is pretty anonymous with no charm and a very poorly intuitive light system. Our room was very worn out - see pics- and the door that separates the WC from the rest of the bathroom inside was missing. The main bathroom door had a huge gap on the side. Conclusion: no noise privacy. Good location but not enough positives in this hotel to recommend. Not good value.

B-Hotel is a contemporary 3-star establishment situated at Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes,  adjacent to Plaça Espanya and opposite Las Arenas Shopping Center. This prime location offers guests convenient access to key attractions such as Montjuïc, the Fira de Barcelona exhibition center, and excellent public transportation links to airport, rail station Barceloneta and shopping area.

Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned (central AC) designed with modern aesthetics and equipped with free Wi-Fi. Rooms are soundproofed and adorned with contemporary art, ensuring a comfortable and stylish stay. Amenities include an electric kettle and mini bar. Some of the features should be renewed.

Guests can enjoy a daily buffet breakfast on the mezzanine level, offering a variety of fresh fruits, cold meats, cheeses, hot specialties, cereals, pastries, and beverages at resonable price. The hotel also provides room service, available at the bar and by the swimming pool. Additional services include free Wi-Fi throughout the property, private parking (at an extra cost), 24-hour reception, laundry service, and a luggage room. Please note, pets are not allowed.

One of B-Hotel's standout features is its 8th-floor terrace, boasting a solarium and an infinity-edge outdoor swimming pool. The pool is not big, but sometimes it can bring moments of enjoyment . From here, guests can enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona, including sights like Plaça Espanya and Montjuïc. The rooftop also houses the B_Pool Bar, offering a selection of cocktails in a lounge setting. The terrace is open year-round, though pool use is restricted during the winter months (December to March) as the pool is not heated.

There is always someone at the reception, so you can come to the hotel at any time of the day or night. Check-in and check-out from the hotel take too long. The tourist tax will be charged on the spot in the amount of €11. The good thing is that after check-out, things can be left in the luggage room and picked up when you get on the...

The pros - Hotel is in a good location. Very near to the metro/bus routes around Barcelona. Also very close to the art museum with great views! The breakfast was very good and especially enjoyed the waffles with chocolate/strawberry sauce!! Staff are welcoming and friendly in the hotel and the room we had was quite big, lots of space and provided what was needed for our stay (4 nights). Roof top bar is lovely we had a couple of cocktails and the bar staff were very polite and welcoming. The pool looks inviting too although we didn't use it as we were out most days exploring. Citytour bus operator stop is nearby the hotel as well plus the supermarket is in the old arena next door with plenty of shops and food places. ||Cons - (Room 205) The windows in the room are just rubbish unfortunately. We didn't sleep well due to the noise level outside as the windows do not provide any kind of sound proofing. The metro also runs below the hotel and makes the whole building shake however this actually didn't bother me as I grew up with a railway line just outside my house but it may bother other people. The toilet room was completely dark..it had a arty looking light but was so dim you couldn't see much at all. Definitely needs a spot light in there. There are roadworks going on outside currently which is not the hotels fault but the noise coming in from the windows is their fault cause they are absolutely rubbish and need updating. The bed was not the most comfortable - Mattress is a little hard.||The hotel overall is good enough for a night but not a week. As I say location was good and breakfast provided was also good. There is a Starbucks in the hotel as well if you prefer a better coffee for breakfast. We were also able to login to our Netflix account on the TV which is a bonus for us Brits who don't want to watch...

One of the best affordable hotels I've stayed so far. Friendly staff, clean room upon arrival with toiletries available and one can request some other items at the reception at no cost as long as it's listed on the leaflet by the sink. The room was quite big for the price we paid and we had shower/bath tub, toilet with bidet, hairdryer, TV(channels only in spanish), a telephone, whole-body mirror, minibar(mini refrigerator with drinks and snacks NOT FREE), a safe, clothes rack with hangers, a couch, and a narrow veranda. The only problem we had during our stay was with their lighting system. There were light switches/buttons by the entrance hall and bedside tables by each beds that controls almost the same light sources but we couldn't really figure out which ones does which so we ended up just pushing randomly every button to turn on the light on just a specific area of the room. That was pretty annoying especially at night when you just want to use the bathroom and doesn't want to turn on the light of the entire room. If one is sensitive of noise, the wall doesn't really block the noise from the hallway and it can be clearly heard from the bathroom and from the bedroom if it's quiet in the room. We're on the 5th floor so not much noise from the trains below the ground. They had a wide selection of food and drinks at the breakfast buffet as well. The hotel is also centrally located. There are buses and metros just 2 to 5 mins walk from the hotel. Aerobus and plaza espanya are 5-10mins walk depending on how fast you walk. There are mall, restaurants and bars as well just...
