Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned (central AC) designed with modern aesthetics and equipped with free Wi-Fi. Rooms are soundproofed and adorned with contemporary art, ensuring a comfortable and stylish stay. Amenities include an electric kettle and mini bar. Some of the features should be renewed.
Guests can enjoy a daily buffet breakfast on the mezzanine level, offering a variety of fresh fruits, cold meats, cheeses, hot specialties, cereals, pastries, and beverages at resonable price. The hotel also provides room service, available at the bar and by the swimming pool. One of B-Hotel's standout features is its 8th-floor terrace, boasting a solarium and an infinity-edge outdoor swimming pool. The pool is not big, but sometimes it can bring moments of enjoyment . From here, guests can enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona, including sights like Plaça Espanya and Montjuïc. The rooftop also houses the B_Pool Bar, offering a selection of cocktails in a lounge setting. The terrace is open year-round, though pool use is restricted during the winter months (December to March) as the pool is not heated.
There is always someone at the reception, so you can come to the hotel at any time of the day or night. Check-in and check-out from the hotel take too long. The tourist tax will be charged on the spot in the amount of €11. The good thing is that after check-out, things can be left in the luggage room and picked up when you get on the...
Read moreThe pros - Hotel is in a good location. Very near to the metro/bus routes around Barcelona. Also very close to the art museum with great views! The breakfast was very good and especially enjoyed the waffles with chocolate/strawberry sauce!! Staff are welcoming and friendly in the hotel and the room we had was quite big, lots of space and provided what was needed for our stay (4 nights). Roof top bar is lovely we had a couple of cocktails and the bar staff were very polite and welcoming. The pool looks inviting too although we didn't use it as we were out most days exploring. Citytour bus operator stop is nearby the hotel as well plus the supermarket is in the old arena next door with plenty of shops and food places. ||Cons - (Room 205) The windows in the room are just rubbish unfortunately. We didn't sleep well due to the noise level outside as the windows do not provide any kind of sound proofing. The metro also runs below the hotel and makes the whole building shake however this actually didn't bother me as I grew up with a railway line just outside my house but it may bother other people. The toilet room was completely dark..it had a arty looking light but was so dim you couldn't see much at all. Definitely needs a spot light in there. There are roadworks going on outside currently which is not the hotels fault but the noise coming in from the windows is their fault cause they are absolutely rubbish and need updating. The bed was not the most comfortable - Mattress is a little hard.||The hotel overall is good enough for a night but not a week. As I say location was good and breakfast provided was also good. There is a Starbucks in the hotel as well if you prefer a better coffee for breakfast. We were also able to login to our Netflix account on the TV which is a bonus for us Brits who don't want to watch...
Read moreOne of the best affordable hotels I've stayed so far. Friendly staff, clean room upon arrival with toiletries available and one can request some other items at the reception at no cost as long as it's listed on the leaflet by the sink. The room was quite big for the price we paid and we had shower/bath tub, toilet with bidet, hairdryer, TV(channels only in spanish), a telephone, whole-body mirror, minibar(mini refrigerator with drinks and snacks NOT FREE), a safe, clothes rack with hangers, a couch, and a narrow veranda. The only problem we had during our stay was with their lighting system. There were light switches/buttons by the entrance hall and bedside tables by each beds that controls almost the same light sources but we couldn't really figure out which ones does which so we ended up just pushing randomly every button to turn on the light on just a specific area of the room. That was pretty annoying especially at night when you just want to use the bathroom and doesn't want to turn on the light of the entire room. If one is sensitive of noise, the wall doesn't really block the noise from the hallway and it can be clearly heard from the bathroom and from the bedroom if it's quiet in the room. We're on the 5th floor so not much noise from the trains below the ground. They had a wide selection of food and drinks at the breakfast buffet as well. The hotel is also centrally located. There are buses and metros just 2 to 5 mins walk from the hotel. Aerobus and plaza espanya are 5-10mins walk depending on how fast you walk. There are mall, restaurants and bars as well just...
