Maxime Petit Pâtisserie — Restaurant in Barcelona

Best brunch of my life!! 🤩

Just a short walk away from Sagrada Familia, this brunch and pastry patisserie is a must must visit in Barcelona.

Beautiful decor and cakes, pastries and sweets to die for. (Award winning Barcelona patisserie)

We were visiting from London for 5 days and came across this place on day 2 (we ended up going back again)

On our first visit we spoke to the two staff members and it turns out they were the owners! 👑 They were sooo lovely and everything was done with a smile. The couple (Maxime & Nina) met at the mandarin oriental and worked there for 10+ years before starting their own place. And it does not disappoint.

It turns out EVERYTHING is made from scratch, from the bread to the pastries. UNBELIEVABLE. 🍰

No wonder they are winning awards!!

Lastly, we had the brunch after their recommendation which currently is only served on Sunday. Just wow. €20ish and felt full and food happy after.

Would HIGHLY recommend.

Oh Barcelona....I'm so glad you have Maxime Petit. I'd only been in the city for one night and half a day but had already experienced multiple unfriendly, clearly-fed-up-with-tourists restaurant personnel and tourist attraction employees. (I get it. We're annoying!) So when I walked into Maxime Petit and the woman behind the counter smiled at me warmly, it nearly made me cry. (Add in me being overly sensitive and getting very little sleep for several days.) She was so welcoming and friendly, I probably would have given five stars for that alone, BUT the quiche was AMAZING! And then I splurged and got an eclair.... It was the best eclair I've ever eaten. Bar none. And they make all their pastries in house. Relaxing atmosphere....

MUST GO IN BARCELONA! If you’re looking for a chilled place to enjoy top notch proper desserts, look no further. Honestly one of the BEST Pâtisseries I’ve ever been (I live in London, where is well known for superb restaurants!) and Maxime Petit Pâtisserie went above expectations!!! The atmosphere of the place is so welcoming (cute deco & friendly staff & they’re pet friendly!!!!) and their pastries are outstanding. We had their set brunch menu on the first day and had to come back twice to try more of their desserts - I wish they had one shop in London too! Highly...
