Sadly not enough staff working today. I called early today at 13.09. Told the staff that we will have a reservation with 3 people, at 2pm, which is in 50minutes. I said this repeatedly, just to make sure that we have a reservation. When we arrived 5min after 2, the staff said we had an reservation at 13:30, and nodded their heads in disappointment without hearing my side of the story. (Understandable, short of staff and stress). Maybe they thought 15min when i said 50. They let us have a table anyway, which was nice. The atmosphere was different from the first time, we did not feel welcomed at all, and neither of the staff took our order until 30min later. Like i said earlier, i understand that they are short of staff. But the way we felt unwelcomed by the whole staff, and the difference from first experience when we felt welcomed by Dan, and the service we received then. The expectations did not match, at all sadly. Next time, i’ll rather just leave than having the feeling of being a burden.

The service today made us feel invisible, i feel sorry to rate you guys 3, because you guys have the best pasta i’ve ever tasted. The uncomfortableness should never be felt by a customer, ever. Just a nod on the head, apologizing or giving us a drink with an explaination of being delayed would be absolutely perfect. Neither was done, we was asked for our drinks 20min in, and food 30min in. Something we were really disapointed about, was that customers that came after us got full attention. The waitress fully explained the menu to the customer (for 10min) because it was their 1. time being there. While it took them 30min to Get our other…. Something doesn’t add up here in mh opinion.

The food was still good, not great because of the uncomfortableness throughout the experience. (The reason of 3star rating). Looking forward to next time we are...

Last nights visit was absolutely exceptional. Easy to make a reservation by WhatsApp just a couple days in advance. A very warm welcome from all the team who showed us through their personal recommendations from the menu and wine lists.

We had beautiful, warm focaccia to start as well as some Bruschetta, followed by, as recommended, the Homemade Tagliatelle with Wild Mushrooms, Parmesan Cream, Saffron and fresh Black Truffle. I've never been speechless having pasta before, but the first bite was genuinely unbelievable! Cannot recommend it highly enough. Delicious homemade pasta with a tasty, creamy yet simple sauce. We also had the Sausage Lasagne which too was exceptional! We finished by sharing a beautiful, light Tiramisu outside.

This was all accompanied by a delicious fruity bottle of red wine and a complimentary glass of Limoncello each after dessert. All in all, 3 courses and a bottle of Italian red wine came to €75 total for 2 people. I struggle to think of anywhere that is of better value as it was simply the best Italian food we have ever had.

Finally, Dan and his team are so so welcoming, knowledgable, friendly and clearly enjoy what they all do. Could not have asked for a better team to look after us for the night. Note that they cannot take tips by card which was so sad as we did not have any cash to leave any additional tip!:(I hope this 5* review can make up for it and help make this restaurant be recognised as one of the very best around!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at BelleBuon, a charming Italian restaurant conveniently located right beside our hotel in Barcelona, and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff, particularly Sergi and Gianluca, went above and beyond to make us feel exceptionally welcome. We were fortunate enough to secure three seats, and Sergi kindly recommended his personal favorite, the lasagna, which turned out to be a delightful choice; while Gianluca surprised us with a plate of the most wonderful truffle pasta. The flavors were incredibly rich, perfectly capturing the essence of authentic Italian cuisine.

Indulging in such satisfying food was the perfect way to conclude an already amazing day in Barcelona.
