I recently had the pleasure of dining at a "Michelin-starred like" restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cosy and welcoming ambience of the restaurant. The warm lighting, comfortable seating, and tasteful decor all contributed to an atmosphere that felt like a home away from home.

The food itself was a true masterpiece. Each dish was carefully crafted to not only taste fantastic but also look like a work of art. Every bite was a delightful explosion of flavours and textures, and I found myself savouring each dish in order to fully appreciate the complexity of the flavours. The chief, Ezequiel, did a wonderful job in his execution.

What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the service. Maria was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Herself and the chief were attentive without being intrusive, and they took the time to answer any questions we had about the menu or the restaurant itself.

I also want to mention that, despite being a Michelin like restaurant, the prices were surprisingly reasonable given the quality of the food and service. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the menu had a range of options at different price points, making it accessible to a variety of budgets. (55, 75, and 100€ for a tasting menu)

The affordable prices did not, however, compromise on the quality of the ingredients or the creativity of the dishes. Each dish was expertly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavours and textures were truly outstanding.

All in all, the combination of outstanding food, cosy environment, friendly service, and reasonable prices make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone looking for a truly exceptional...

One of the best meals I have ever had. Went with my parents from Korea. The dishes were simple, but very complete. The natural flavours of the ingredients really shined through the cooking.

Service, food and wine were all amazing.

Some great dishes I had:

Oxtail Croquettes had a light crunchy exterior with creamy filing with a very concentrated meat flavour. Great warm bites to start.

Porcini mushrooms were cooked prrfectly. The seasoned ricotta and egg yolk added a creamy texture which went amazing with the meaty bites of the mushroom.

And my favourite dishes of the night we're the octopus rice and the Iberican pork.

The rice was cooked al dente. Perfectly seasoned and the concentrated seafood broth made each bite blow you away. The octopus was cooked separately to ensure it was cooked perfectly as each bite was very tender and the slight char on the outside made it look and taste amazing.

The Iberican pork is simply amazing. One of the highlight ingredients of Spain. Cooked perfectly with nice pink interior. They gave us steak knives but a butter knife would've done the job as the tender pork just melted away. The buttery mashed potatoes were amazing and the micro carrots were a nice touch.

Their burrata, bread, and veal carpaccio (simple yet very well executed) are great as well.

Absolute gem of a restaurant. I cannot wait to go to Barcelona again to go back to this...

Our family of 4 was staying in a great Airbnb just 3 doors down from Olivos and our hosts recommended the restaurant. Looked them up, found they had no openings, so we just walked to the door. We were greeted by Maria who was sweet even though I explained we didn't have reservations. She checked her schedule for the next day and we couldn't make it to the opening she had. She offered to take our number and call us if anything changed. Shortly she called and explained that she had moved reservations and made a later opening, could we make that? Couldn't believe that she had gone to so much effort to fit us in! We were so excited! The whole experience was wonderful. Charming atmosphere (they only serve around 8 people for lunch so it's very relaxed and personalized). The service was thoughtful and friendly. The food was creative and left me on more than one occasion observing "that tastes so good, what is that combination?" I guess I would describe the flavors as suprising and unique. They obviously love what they do and take pride in it. We were the last ones there and so had the extra pleasure of visiting with Maria and Chef, talking about where he grew up and ingredients that we all love. Afterwords, Maria even responded to a message telling me to reach out if we needed anything during our stay. It was a truly special experience! Book a table, you...

I'm a natural wine lover and this place was on my list of places to go from the natural wine app Raisin. It is a bit out of town, but close to the Camp Nou. I went to see that on my second to last day and saw that it was close by. However I also noticed that it closed early on a Sunday. Having read the reviews, I really wanted to try it, so proceed to run there. The kitchen was close to closing, so I just made it in time. They do a tasting menu, but there wasn't enough time for that. So I just had a selection of a few dishes and they were exquisite. I had some wines to accompany the dishes and they were equally as good. I loved the little touches too, such as the wine glasses, cutlery and plates all being a very high quality which to me shows a great level of detail and passion for what you are doing. The owners themselves are lovely people too and you can tell that they enjoy what they do. It isn't cheap, but worth it for the quality, presentation and taste of the food and the ingredients themselves are of a very high quality.
