My wife and I have traveled all over the world (including Japan), and recounting this meal, we have been hard-pressed to think of a dining experience that tops it! We read the glowing reviews online, and were expecting a terrific meal. We were absolutely blown away; can’t stop talking about it days later.
The presentation, pacing and variety of the courses was superb, to say the least of the complexity and flavors of the courses themselves. A few courses that stand out in our memory for being unique and flavorful were the tempura oysters with kimchi mayonnaise, the Japanese flan with kiwi, thin sliced apples and jam, and each of the nigiri courses - hands down the highest quality sushi we’ve ever had.
The service was also fantastic. Our servers spoke excellent English and described each of the courses to us in detail, and were extremely attentive to anything we needed. We sat at the bar, which provided an additional treat in us being able to observe the chef/owner creating many of the courses. We were not expecting that, and it really enhanced the experience.

Read moreIncredible dining experience! Went here for a omakase / tasting menu to celebrate my birthday and was so delighted. Each dish was a visual delight and so, so magical. Nigiris were all fresh and I absolutely loved the foie, dumpling and tempura oysters. Actually I also loved most of the menu. Plating was impeccable and dishes were creative while still retaining hints of traditional.

The team is so professional, personable and takes so much pride and joy in their work. I won’t be surprised if they start winning more awards soon. Go before they become...

The wine list has splendid sherries. The best pairing of the meal was wagyu with a 15-year old oloroso sherry from El Maestro Sierra, an experience only possible in Spain.
