Plata Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Barcelona

my review is not based on cocktails but their terrible service and lack of consideration for customers

I came here last week and upon arrival ask the bartender where I could sit and he told me wherever then 10minutes later a waiter came to take my order in which I was not ready so I asked for more time. He took 20 minutes to come back as it seemed the staff was chatting at the bar. I placed my order, he writes it down, then proceeds to tell me their visa machine is not working and it’s only cash and I did not have any on hand. I was so shocked that he chose NOW after 30 minutes of waiting to tell me that, this is something that should be told to a customer as soon as they walk in.

I will not be returning as they showed no respect for my time or any concern when I had to leave and was never told where to find an atm machine they were just like “oops sorry bye”. Extremely unprofessional and...

This was my first trip to Barcelona and for my 40th birthday. The trip turned into craziness as it was right as the travel ban was announced. I decided to stay and enjoy what I could. I found this bar and decided to check it out. I’m glad that I did. I felt so comfortable in here, felt welcome and was treated like I was the only person in the bar. The atmosphere is very eclectic, upbeat and energetic! The drinks are amazing and have that little extra flair. The gentleman making my drink would not deliver until the smoke bubble was perfect. I appreciated the effort! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in Barcelona. When I get a chance to go back, I will definitely be checking...

What makes it fabulous? Surely the vibe and its cocktails. Have been there some days ago and I'm really glad I did. The atmosphere is dreamlike and really pleasant for your eyes since it's full of lights and colors. Cocktails are also very flavourful but I suggest writing what's inside of them on the menù. It prevents people from choosing something they might dislike for their personal taste like it happened to me. But, this being said, the cocktail are good and will blow your mind with their appearance.
