I had a great expirience in this Hostel: I have arrived late and Fran was accommodating the other guests. He shortly responded to me with the most welcome attitude and I felt the warmth of this place. I have travelled alot but never had such a lovely welcoming hosts. Onefam stands by its name, all the guests are hanging out together and having a good time, they have social gamesthat are involving everyone and it is not forceful, people respect your privacy and control their noise. It is suitable for the crowd that wants to enjoy Barcelona from the party angle but also just for those that need advise how to get around and need a night for a good price in a safe place with good facilities. It is in a walking distance from all the fun areas but also close to a metro if you need to go farther. My stay was short and the morning staff Javi was on, I thought he is a guest there at first haha. He asked me if I would like recommendations where to go around Barcelona, I took his advice. Javi draw me the best plan and gave top advise to see Barcelona, he was very knowledgeable about this city, he is such a lovely guy with great accommondating attitude and happy personality, Thanks alot mate!!! I thought it was a mistake to book a bed in a hostel, but this place proved me wrong, I'll definitely do it again on my next travels. Onefam needed in other big cities with such good vibes. 🇦🇺🦘🪃

My friends and I recently took our first trip to Barcelona together, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay than Onefam Batlló Hostel. This place truly did not disappoint. Let’s start with cleanliness. The hostel was impeccably maintained throughout our entire stay. I often saw the janitor diligently cleaning and mopping, ensuring that all the bathrooms were stocked with toilet paper and everything remained spotless. There was never a moment when dirty dishes lingered in the common areas, which created a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Now, I have to highlight the staff. Each and every one of them was genuinely special and contributed to our wonderful experience. They were friendly, warm, and always willing to help with a smile. It felt like they truly cared about making our stay enjoyable, which made a huge difference. Shout out to Mattea, Abby, Paige, Ruby, Elizabeth, and Crist. Overall, Onefam Batlló Hostel was the perfect home base for our Barcelona adventure. Clean, welcoming, and full of character, it’s a place I highly recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful city!

Hostel One Battló, can't say Its the best hostel I've ever been to, because it the first hostel I've been to. But what I can say for sure is that the staff here are awesome. The rooms are nice and the location is great. My first day I arrived we had a going away party for a staff member and the atmosphere was amazing. A nice shared meal followed by drinking games, which then led to a night out on the town where we stayed up till early in the morning. The entire time everyone was just amazing. The next day we went for a group hike to the Carmel Bunkers which has one of the best views of all Barcelona. More communal dining, more drinking games, followed by another trip to a club. If your looking to stay at a place that makes you feel welcome and want to meet some great people, don't hesitate to visit. I hope everyone enjoys there time here as much as I did.

This hostel brings all of the things you hope for from a hostel into a single package. Staff is super friendly and bubbly once you get to know them. A daily outing and nightly bar crawl to one of the bars they either own or have deals with provided a bit of structure for those times when you're not sure what to do.

The rooms are nice, with built in wooden bunks with nice privacy curtains that make it easy to sleep at any time of the day. Lockable cabinets underneath the beds for each person are great for storing things out of the way (bring your own lock). Communal showers, toilets, and sinks are fine and function well for a communal environment.

The location is great. Close to the A1/A2 airport buses as well as a number of local metro and bus stations that make it easy to get around town. The neighborhood is full of eateries of all types and budgets as well as a convenience store right across the street. The kitchen is rather typical and they include free tea and coffee though don't expect it to be much better than what you would find at a service station.

This is an age restricted hostel as it is geared towards the younger party crowd. When I booked it on the same day I checked in, the age limit was 45 but I was informed when I checked in that they had in fact changed the limit to 38. That was annoying, but they "let" me stay for the two nights I had booked.

On the downside, they take absolutely no precautions for COVID. No masking, no sanitizer, or anything. Feeling awkward at check in due to my age (42), I jumped on board with this and realized that night how several people in each room were coughing to the point that I wore a mask all night and woke several times as a result of the noise.

I took a test before my flight the morning I checked out and found that I had come down with asymptomatic COVID. That was awesome and forced me to stay in Barcelona for more than an extra week, which was expensive and took a toll back at home. I informed the manager and a few of the staff that I caught COVID at the hostel and Maxime just brushed it off.

Overall, if you catch this place between COVID waves, you're probably in for a good time. If you are at all worried about COVID, it's probably not a good idea. I used to stay in hostels all the time and this place helped wake me up with an expensive lesson about how that's not a great...

I stayed here for three nights as a first time solo traveller, also my first time in a hostel. I picked this hostel due to high reviews and location and it did not disappoint.

It only took me approx 15 minutes to walk from Placa de Catalunya to the hostel where I was welcomed by the lovely Ara (who has sadly now left on her own travels). I was given a quick tour and shown my bunk area.

In terms of facilities I had absolutely no issues. Bunk and bedding all comfy with personal light, little shelf and USB charging points. Individual curtains on the beds are a big bonus which create that extra bit of privacy. You will get some noise with people coming and going at different times but you would be unrealistic not to expect this in a hostel. Storage space below bunk had plenty room for my backpack and clothes. Shared toilet/showers were all in good working order and clean, good shower pressure which I always appreciate. Shared kitchen facilities were all good, anything you bought you just had to label. Plenty of places to chill and chat.

The real star of the hostel is the people. Firstly the staff who will help any way they can, talk away with you and just have a good time with you. Every day activities are organised, followed by family dinners, drinking games and then out to the bar and club. You are free to join in as and when you please on these and can keep up to date on the hostel board and whatsapp. All are a great way of getting involved and meeting new people as a solo traveller. I was slightly anxious being an introvert, but I tried to put myself out there and was responded to in kindness by the staff and other travellers. I got talking to people from all around the world in my three days and it was a valuable takeaway from my experience.

I would happily stay at this hostel again. My special thanks to all the staff who's names I cant all remember (Ara, Sun, guy from Venice and especially Trevor). Trevor is a larger than life character and a brilliant asset to this hostel, not to mention...
