The restaurant is service is terrible. We just left for a graduation party for a student at Sam Houston University. We were a party of 15 and we waited 1 hour and 30 mins for our food. There was a party of 30 that came in after our party and they were all Hispanics and our party was all African American. They were served before us and out within a hour. The manager went around the restaurant asking everyone how the service and food was and NEVER came to our table to ask our party. I really believe that we were discriminated against. The food was ok but the service was awful. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone and especially no one of color because you will not get fair service. Pushy waiter served and charged for food we didn't order. The quality and amount of food received was questionable and to top it off charged TWICE what every one else charges for Sangria in Barcelona ! 1 litre for 28 euros!! . When questioned the senior waiter's response was "this is Barcelona".

We ordered paella and it was delicous! While waiting for our order, I saw the Jamon Iberico they had at the bar so I ordered a small plate of it; the staff (owner or manager?) suggested the black-tagged ham and it was so good, it's not salty, too. Being foreign tourists, my aunt and I were not familiar with the local dishes, but the staff helped us choose the best food their guest should have to complete their visit in Barcelona or the Catalonia region.
