At the beginning we asked the waiter if we could order one lunch for two, since we were not hungry. To which a positive response was received and an order was placed. After a long time, the owner of the restaurante came up and said that we needed to order another lunch, since it was impossible to share one lunch between two people. We explained to him that we asked the waiter about this at the beginning, so we decided to make just such an order. But the owner still tried to force us to order something we didn’t need. Without receiving our consent he made sure that we were the last to receive our order, even later than the people who came after us.
And at the end he came up and said that we needed to quickly vacate the table, as new clients had arrived. I have never seen such a situation where customers were kicked out in restaurants.
It is very strange that the owner treats customers this way because of an unordered lunch costing 15 euros. If we liked everything and continued to go to his restaurant regularly we would give a lot more money in the future. But after this we don't want to visit this...
Read moreDisbauxa in Barcelona is a culinary gem that never fails to impress! I recently had the pleasure of indulging in their delectable cuisine, and I must say, it was a taste sensation like no other. The paella, in particular, was an absolute standout – undoubtedly the best I've ever had in Barcelona, and believe me, I've sampled quite a few!
But it's not just the food that makes Disbauxa stand out; it's the charming atmosphere and the wonderful people behind it. The owner, with whom I had the pleasure of engaging in delightful conversations, added an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to my dining experience. His wit and humor kept us entertained throughout the afternoon, and his thoughtful gesture of arranging a little surprise for my sister's birthday was incredibly endearing.
Needless to say, I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Barcelona, and Disbauxa will undoubtedly be at the top of my list. Until then, sending lots of love and appreciation to the entire team at Disbauxa. You've truly captured the essence of hospitality and culinary excellence. Moltes gràcies i fins aviat!

Read moreWhat a beautiful hidden gem! We were walking past and were drawn in by the warm light and cool decor, then stayed for dinner and absolutely loved it.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. They were really accommodating for my gluten-free requirements, and even fried the patatas bravas in fresh oil so there would be no contamination. As a coeliac I really appreciated the effort, and made me trust them completely!
They have tables outside too... Would definitely recommend this place for a tasty lunch or a...
