Restaurante Pizzeria Figli del Vesuvio — Restaurant in Barcelona

I´m a neighbor living very close to this establishment. After 5 minutes sitting at a table on the terrace, the waiter, whom we had not yet seen, comes and tells us: "everything is reserved" (even having another table for 8 diners free on the same terrace, in addition to the table for 4 diners where we were already seated). Once again, I emphasize; none of the free tables on the terrace was either occupied or with a "reserved" sign. It's a shame, but with me they lose a client forever. Normally they tend to be really slow in service, but the last straw is that they waste your time without even serving you, or giving you an alternative to take away. I do not recommend it at all, time is money for everyone!. Until now I have been recommending it to friends, collegues and family, but from now on, I will not do that.

Soy vecino muy próximo a este establecimiento. Después de 5 minutos sentado en una mesa en la terraza, acude el camarero, al cual todavía no habíamos visto, y nos dice que "todo está reservado" (habiendo mesa de 8 comensales libre en la misma terraza, además de la de 4 comensales donde estábamos ya sentados). Recalco; ninguna de las mesas libres en la terraza estaba, ni ocupada, ni con cartel de "reservada". Es una pena, pero conmigo pierden un cliente para siempre. Normalmente suelen ser algo (o muy) lentos en el servicio, pero el colmo es que te hagan perder el tiempo sin ni siquiera servirte, ni darte alternativa de llevar. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We arrived very late (almost closing) and the staff were all so kind and accommodating. I had a lasagne that tasted very authentic and delicious. The rest of my friends had various pizzas that they also enjoyed and said were very tasty.

Also they DO accept card payment - I saw a couple of reviews mentioning that they only accept cash, this is not the case. They do however offer a discount if you pay in cash.

Me and my fiance, came here on our first day of Barcelona and it was that good food and value for money with excellent service and friendliness we came back for our last meal in barcelona, today we tried the pasta and just like the pizza it was unreal, fresh ingrients and excellent flavour, the restaurants in the city centre are over priced and inconsistent quality everybody should come to small restaurants like this and support the local area 10-10 can not fault lovely food, wine and company hope to visit...
