Had a great time at the Palau Blaugrana for the FC Bareclona Lassa basketball game. The venue is small, but it means every seat is a good one. The entries are a bit confusing, so check your ticket to make sure you enter through the correct door! There's only non-alcoholic beer served and quite a limited number of options from the snack counter (sandwiches and popcorn). The cheering section was most definitely Spanish because they cheered like it was a soccer/fútbol game. They didn't stop during their own team's free throws or have cheers that had anything to do with what was happening in the game. It was certainly different then basketball games in the US. We went to watch Kevin Pangos who used to play for Gonzaga, our Alma mater. Will definitely go to another game!

Big event hall used for futsal, basket and handball. Cozy arena, but lacking behind other modern sport halls. Best atmosphere is when there's basket. All have are top teams. Some seats allow you to see the pitch, but you can't see the full stadium because a stand is blocking the view. The food offering is limited and queues get long. Not enough toilets which are outdated. Better to eat something before the game. It's next to Camp Nou and the fan shop.

Fantàstic tornar al Palau, el pavelló de bàsquet on he vist Solozabal, Epi, Sibilio, De la Cruz ..., Trumbo, Norris, Djordjevic, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Dueñas, Navarro i els germans Gasol... Però també el temple de les seccions d'handbol i hoquei del F.C. Barcelona, i les que més títols europeus han aconseguit! He vist hoquei des de l'època de Trullols, Vila-Puig, Torres, Villacorta, Centell, Pauls ... als germans Torner, Cairo, Borregan, Egurrola, Pablito Álvarez... i handbol amb els Sagalés, Serrano, Grau, Wunderlich, Papitu, Vujovic, Kalina. I l'exitosa dècada dels 90 amb Barrufet i Svensson a la porteria; amb laterals com Urdangarin, Garralda, Ortega i Wenta; extrems com Guijosa i Barbeito; i un pivot dominant com pocs, el gran Andrei Xepkin!! Llàstima que el meu retorn coincidís amb el trencament de la ratxa d'imbatibilitat (des del 2015) de la secció al palau davant el Kielce polonès (un gran equip dirigit per Talant Dujshebaev que, unit a l'afebliment de la plantilla blaugrana respecte de la temporada anterior, va celebrar el teiomf com si fos el títol de l'EHF euroleague!).

Incredible arena, big enough to create a good atmosphere, but still small enough that no one is too far away. Ticketing and admission was reasonably easy to navigate. Incredible gameday experience from pre-game onwards. The only drawback is the quality of the seats; they are really small and really close together. Only thing preventing a 5 star review.

Great experience from the Euroleague basketball game. Stands were full with about 6000 people cheering and simging during the game. Tickets are pretty cheap ranging from 32-170€. The arena is not too big nor too small. Easy access to metro stations (~200m away)👌🏼🏀

Parlar del Palau Blaugrana es parlar de la història del esport professional europeu d'alt nivell. En aquest escenari s'han viscut grans nits màgiques de bàsquet, des dels equips del Epi, Solozábal i Audi Norris, passant pels Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Navarro, Gasol i molts altres esportistes i equips d'altíssim nivell. Les instal·lacions necessiten una reforma o bé un nou palau per posar-se a l'alçada dels altres clubs europeus, però fins que es pugui dur a terme permeten gaudir d'aquest gran esport en molt bones condicions. No estan permeses l'entrada de càmeres de foto professionals al recinte sense acreditació de premsa i és recomanable desplaçar-se en transport públic per evitar aglomeracions a la sortida.
