A fascist behaviour that is, to use high technology against a handful of opposing supporters. My personal opinion.

Imagine some 6000 Barça supporters amazingly cheering for their team with joy and excitement. A natural environment that any club would be proud of.

Now imagine, on the top-far-away corner somewhere, the "legally we had to let them in" few supporters trying to cheer for their team, the away team. Coming from whatever country on the match day to support their team and enjoy some tapas afterwards. Maybe 10. Maybe 50. Never more than two digits probably.

Now, that handful of supporters, whenever they tend to shout out for their team, Barça fans of course shut them up with their voice. Cool. That is natural and and fun part of the competition. They are amazing.

But, when that handful of away supporters try to cheer up, and the club itself, instantly uses its zillion-watt sound system to shut them up, that is fascism in its own lightness. This, in mentality, has no difference to me than a high-end war plane bombing few people who oppose. Sure we can not compare the acts of war and a match, but the mentality is the same: When there is a light opposing voice, you instantly destroy it with your technology.

Catalunya itself was a victim of this mentality, now it is behaving with the same mentality through its worldwide-loved, "Més que un club". Maybe that is why they call it "Palau" Blaugrana. Yes it is a "palace" and in palaces there is no room for any kind of opposition.

I would expect a different standing from a club that everyone loves. One that claims it is "more...

Hola.

Had a great time at the Palau Blaugrana for the FC Bareclona Lassa basketball game. The venue is small, but it means every seat is a good one. The entries are a bit confusing, so check your ticket to make sure you enter through the correct door! There's only non-alcoholic beer served and quite a limited number of options from the snack counter (sandwiches and popcorn). The cheering section was most definitely Spanish because they cheered like it was a soccer/fútbol game. They didn't stop during their own team's free throws or have cheers that had anything to do with what was happening in the game. It was certainly different then basketball games in the US. We went to watch Kevin Pangos who used to play for Gonzaga, our Alma mater. Will definitely go to...

Was my first time on this basketball stadium. I didn’t like that they allowed people to enter 1 hour before the game … i visited a lot of Euroleague games and first time its happened to me. Staff inside the stadium were nice and friendly. Barca funs didn’t make noice and nice atmosphere but at the end they won Fenerbahce bc. Quality of the food in the arena was very average.. Barca has big brand name and I expected better experience in general. Good luck from Olympiacos BC fan!

Big event hall used for futsal, basket and handball. Cozy arena, but lacking behind other modern sport halls. Best atmosphere is when there's basket. All have are top teams. Some seats allow you to see the pitch, but you can't see the full stadium because a stand is blocking the view. The food offering is limited and queues get long. Not enough toilets which are outdated. Better to eat something before the game. It's next to Camp Nou and the fan shop.
