We made a reservation via WhatsApp way before our visit and was able to secure a time slot. The inside is small so there is not a lot of seating available. We arrived 30 min late due to a severe thunderstorm and if it was in NY our reservation would have been canceled by the owner was very accommodating.

All the pieces were delicious and you could see how much thought and care the chef puts into each piece. The flavors are simple yet refined, nothing fancy just quality ingredients that are paired well with each other. My favorites were the o-toro, shrimp with shrimp brain and toasted shrimp shell salt, mini mackerel hand roll, and miso soup.

With only seven seats, it’s incredibly exclusive and tough to book, but 100% worth your while if you get the chance. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted and perfectly sequenced like a story told through flavor. The chef is quirky, unintentionally hilarious, and incredibly talented. His slightly awkward charm just makes the whole experience feel even more special.
