Excellent coffee. Smooth, robust cappuccino with beautiful foam. Love that they do the proper size here, not those enormous cups with latte art like so many speciality coffee houses.

Barista was also excellent. He was doing the whole thing alone and was so efficient, and seemed like a very well-oiled machine.

I would have liked to peruse the selection and maybe get a little creative as they have so many beans and options but it was very busy and I felt bad, so I went with my regular order.

Honestly, this place would have been perfect but there is basically no seating. There is a tiny bench inside, and another outside but it's a little weird and not very welcoming to sit and enjoy. Bad (also small, which is a plus in this case) drinks and bottom of the barrel service, even for tourist-trap standards. The staff is slow, unfriendly and unprofessional. Apparently they can't tell iced macha from iced macha latte. They use full ice cubes (2) instead of nugget ice. They can't give you a printed receipt of your card transaction neither.

If you're in the area and fancy an iced coffee or drink, you're out of luck. Still, ou can get a better, and cheaper café, con hielo...

I visited this Syra coffee on Friday, there was this blonde girl barista, I think her name was Victoria (if I remember right) - she was so kind and friendly, but what was the best is how she made Matcha latte! This is a sign of coffee shop quality for me. Many coffee shops stir the matcha very poorly, so that there are lumps at the bottom when you finish drinking.
