I love to find new cafés with amazing coffee and matcha. Nowadays, I have a diet restriction of gluten and dairy. I was so excited when I entered this place cuz it looks exactly like the kind of places I want to find in every city I go. However, even though the atmosphere and food are good quality the service was not really nice. I asked for matcha with vegetable option drink (like almond, coconut, even oat) but of course, it has to be gluten free oat. She said no, we don't have. We just have normal milk and oat milk (Minor figures) which explicitly doesn't certified is gluten free. Anyways, this I understand but I would suggest that this kind of café attracts people with different dietary restrictions. Anyways, the point is they did actually have a gluten free option for my matcha but they said it was for the kitchen and they couldn't do the exception for me because they would have to do it for everyone else (basically a business opportunity!!! If people are asking for it) So she didn't care, she didn't try to find a solution for me (even though they had it) and I thought even though I consider this café a nice place to go, the service is SO important so my suggestion is, consider introducing a new option for people with gluten restrictions and just share a smile and be open to explore solutions for your clients. Listen to them because probably you are missing out what they are looking for! Anyways, nice place, food...
Read moreIf you’re in Begur, you absolutely have to stop by this place—it’s my favourite spot in town. The only decent place around to get coffee and the breakfast just hits the spot. What some don’t know is that in the weekends you can enjoy a drink and some excellent dishes for a casual dinner. If you haven’t tried it… don’t walk, run! The aubergine dish is out of this world. And if you like wine, there’s a great selection of natural wines, and the staff are super helpful if you want to discover some amazing local bottles. Grab a seat outside in front of the church, order and just soak up the atmosphere. You’ll want to keep...
Read moreVery good coffee and nice atmosphere. The line manager was a bit rude though. My partner and I walked in and had to use the toilet before ordering. When I was done, I was waiting for him outside of the toilet. At that point, the line manager started asking me to order something since I used the toilet. I explained to her that I was waiting for my partner so that we could order together. I found it a bit rude that she had to prompt me to quickly purchase something. It also seemed like she was micromanaging one of the baristas. Not the greatest of experiences. I didn't feel very welcomed. However, the...
