Highly recommended. Besides being very characteristics right in the center of Begur, is a cosy restaurant with not so many table (you have to book in advance!) and keeping the atmosphere while serving very good Catalan dishes straight from their wood-fire oven (which is an old stone-built oven still functioning and wheee they cook pretty much everything in it). Both starters and main course were delicious (bear in mind was Easter when we were there and despite that they kept a very smooth service). We had the lamb in the oven (10/10!!) but they also had fresh fish from the coast at a very reasonable price but we didn’t try it. We had dinner yesterday night and even if the food is so good we were warning one of us had fish allergy. The chef did touch and used products that been in contact with some fish. Fact is that he didnt washed his hands because my friend started having some reactions. The waiters didnt told the chef because they were discussing about it in front of us after telling them AGAIN. After that, no discounts, no sorries, no anything. They told us if we had adrenaline in case of anything hevyier. I think they dont any any idea of what they were dealing about and the importance of an allergy.
