I had the pleasure of dining at a Lebnene recently, and I must say, it was one of the most delightful culinary experiences I have had in a while. From the moment I walked in, the decor and ambiance transported me to the streets of Beirut, with vibrant colors and intricate designs adorning every inch of the space.
The menu was extensive, with a wide range of traditional Lebanese dishes to choose from. I started with the hummus, which was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of garlic and lemon. The falafel was also a standout, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, served with a tangy tahini sauce.
For my main course, I opted for the mixed grill, which included succulent lamb chops, tender chicken skewers, and juicy beef kofta. The meats were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, served with a side of fluffy rice and a refreshing salad.
To top it all off, I indulged in a piece of baklava, which was flaky and sweet, with just the right amount of pistachios and honey.
Overall, the service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who were happy to make recommendations and answer any questions I had. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with live music and dancing adding to the festive vibe.
I would highly recommend this Lebanese restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic dining experience. The flavors, ambiance, and service are all top-notch, making for a truly...
Read moreI've just ordered some food today for the first time and maybe their in situ servings are bigger but the fattoush salad I received was less than what I expected. I think their prices are a bit elevated for the portion size and quality. The grape leaves were too thick to be edible and also a bit on the saltier side. The oil and lemon juice mix they provide wasn't very appetizing (I understand olive oil is very expensive atm but still, the quality was very mediocre). I wish they would provide a slice of lemon next to the grape leaves (but it was nice of them to include a note saying they don't have fresh lemon slices, so I will give credit for that). Finally there was absolutely no difference between their falafel salad and fattoush except 3 slices of falafel (the shape made me think if it was really homemade tho). I have eaten in other Lebanese restaurants in and around Malaga and they provide some other condiments such as pickles etc with their falafel salads which would have been nice to receive for the total...
Read moreWe got 2 chicken shawarma, one beef and one lamb platter.
The chicken shawarma was decent, my friends enjoyed it very much.
The beef shawarma was sad, very salty and didn't taste that good...
But the saddest of them all was the lamb platter. You get a pile of frozen fried potatoes, two sad lamb skewers, hummus, salad (lettuce, tomato, onion, pepper) and half of a pita. The lamb was not that good I didn't enjoy it, the salad was very bad - looking old and the only thing you could taste was lemon and vinegar and the humus was bad too - very heavy with lots of oil and tahini.
Overall I really didn't enjoy the lamb platter. This being a fast food type of restaurant I would say to avoid anything else besides the chicken shawarma. And if you are a bit picky with food I would definitely avoid it.
The owner of the place is very polite and if you have questions he gladly answers them.
Unfortunately I didn't...
