Saona Benicàssim — Restaurant in Benicàssim / Benicasim

This was sadly a very disappointing dinner experience. The placement and exterior was very nice! The service on the other hand was very poor, one server (lady) seemed to be upset and was rude. Other customers also experienced the same. There where a lot of costumers and stress, but to forget to clean up, cutlery, drinks AND the food isn’t acceptable. One of us didn’t get the food until 20 minutes later than the others on the table. The starters both looked and tasted very good. The main course and dessert wasn’t like the pictures at the menu all, and was the most disappointing part.

The price on the other hand was fairly cheap, so maybe that’s explains the quality of the experience.

I had a great time at Saona Benicàssim. The location is fantastic, right by the beach, with a relaxed and stylish atmosphere that makes it perfect for lunch or dinner. The food was very good — fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. Portions were fair, and the menu has enough variety to please most people.

The service was friendly, and some staff members really went the extra mile, though it can feel a bit slow at times when the place is busy. A few details with cleanliness and organization could be improved, but overall it didn’t spoil the experience.

They forgot our food for an hour. We did keep reminding them politely. They eventually brought us desert, and we explained that we had not received our mains yet. The waiter exhaled, we eventually got our food, and they dropped half of it on the table. They left ot there and said "sorry", then walked away. When they brought us our desert, it was the same they had mistakenly brought before, which had become warm and soggy.

The place is nice, in terms of decoration, but I genuinely have not experienced worse service anywhere. I would rather experience apendicitis because at least hospital food is not dropped and then left for...
