This was sadly a very disappointing dinner experience. The placement and exterior was very nice! The service on the other hand was very poor, one server (lady) seemed to be upset and was rude. Other customers also experienced the same. There where a lot of costumers and stress, but to forget to clean up, cutlery, drinks AND the food isn’t acceptable. One of us didn’t get the food until 20 minutes later than the others on the table. The starters both looked and tasted very good. The main course and dessert wasn’t like the pictures at the menu all, and was the most disappointing part. The price on the other hand was fairly cheap, so maybe that’s explains the quality of the experience. Maybe we’ll come back in a year, I definitively think they have the potential to become a great place!

I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is very tasty. We had the daily menu, which included a starter, main course, and dessert, with several dish options to choose from. The price was €13.99. There is an extra charge for certain dishes, such as octopus — but it’s definitely worth it. The menu is available via QR code, with translations into several languages and pictures of the dishes. Special thanks to the staff — everything was quick, and they were friendly and kind.

Vinimos a celebrar nuestro aniversario. Nos ofrecieron una mesa para elegir. Cuando nos sentamos descubrimos que la mesa y los platos estaban cubiertos de polvo. Nadie vino a nosotros durante mucho tiempo, pedimos cortésmente cambiar los platos y limpiar la mesa, ¡pero dos! Las camareras parecían estar dormidas o no escuchaban. Finalmente limpiaron la mesa con cara de insatisfacción. Creo que una mesa limpia y platos limpios son la norma en un restaurante. Esperamos mucho tiempo por nuestros platos. La gente se sentó en las mesas vecinas y llegaron más tarde que nosotros (sin niños), ¡estábamos con un niño (8 años) y tres! Las mesas vecinas se servían antes, les llevaban la comida antes y les pagaban antes. Finalmente nos trajeron cambio en monedas e incluyeron un “aditivo” en el precio de los platos, es muy humillante. La camarera no pudo explicar qué era esta adición ni qué más pagamos. Las camareras arruinaron nuestra velada con su servicio. Salimos molestos, mi hombre estuvo enojado por mucho tiempo. Mi esposo pidió café, se olvidaron de traerlo, pero no se olvidaron de incluirlo en la cuenta. ¡Nadie se disculpó ni siquiera hizo un cumplido!☕ El restaurante es muy bonito, el ambiente es agradable. Todos los platos son sabrosos y bien presentados, el chef cocina riquísimo, pero el servicio... deja mucho que desear. Espero que el dueño del restaurante escuche y solucione este problema.

I had a great time at Saona Benicàssim. The location is fantastic, right by the beach, with a relaxed and stylish atmosphere that makes it perfect for lunch or dinner. The food was very good — fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. Portions were fair, and the menu has enough variety to please most people.

The service was friendly, and some staff members really went the extra mile, though it can feel a bit slow at times when the place is busy. A few details with cleanliness and organization could be improved, but overall it didn’t spoil the experience.

Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Benicàssim and looking for a place with good food and...

They forgot our food for an hour. We did keep reminding them politely. They eventually brought us desert, and we explained that we had not received our mains yet. The waiter exhaled, we eventually got our food, and they dropped half of it on the table. They left ot there and said "sorry", then walked away. When they brought us our desert, it was the same they had mistakenly brought before, which had become warm and soggy.

The place is nice, in terms of decoration, but I genuinely have not experienced worse service anywhere. I would rather experience apendicitis because at least hospital food is not dropped and then left for...
