Localolita Street Food — Restaurant in Benidorm

Somewhere between ok and good. They were clearly very very busy.. But I was a single diner and they seemed to stutter at allowing me in?? But directly after me a table of 5-6 were seated no problem?? I felt a little like I was inconveniencing them by taking up a table on my own. I got my table. But there was only 2 servers I could see that were working a floor with about 20+ tables at varying sizes. Some large groups that obviously needed serving accordingly. They looked stressed.. they did advise some people to return later on. Some did, some didn't.. I don't know how but my 2 starters arrived at the end of the 3 girls next to me (sat just before me) who had starters drinks and mains! They'd even requested the bill! I'd ordered 2 starters- So service was really disappointing. I couldn't understand how I wasn't served quickly. I'd ordered wings and fries. They arrived 10mins apart.. I told the servers twice I needed the food asap as I had to go, please go check what's taking this long. I should have just left but I was starving. The wings were 'ok' Couldn't taste the advertised kimchi vibe?? And I adore kimchi. Very shy with the chive but as a general crispy wing goes they were good but they were NOT worth €15, no way...I only got 8 wings! The fries were rocking tho. Freshly made. Probably the best smash burger we have ever eaten. The buns are amazing, the fries are also exceptional. We also tried the cheese-loaded fries, they are amazing. The portion sizes are also big and match the price. The service was really good, we were provided with a snack until we waited for the food, which also did not take long, I think we all had our food within 10 minutes of ordering (there were not many people yet when we arrived so keep that in mind). The beer they served was good, too. Waitress was nice and seemed quite experienced. The spot itself was very nice, fans were mounted all over to make everything comfortable in the summer heat. Definitely give this place a go if you want something filling after a long day, or if you want a calmer place to talk with someone over a drink...

Very disappointed with the attitude of the staff at this establishment. Booked a table of 14 people for the last night of our stay in Benidorm. When we arrived we were told we could not sit together even though the restaurant was virtually empty (2 other people). It was very simple to put two tables together. We sat down on different tables and went to order some drinks. They apparently had no wine, no beer, or no cocktails. At this point we all agreed we did not feel welcome or received any customer care so took our business elsewhere.
