Painfully slow service. (We sat in a near enough empty restaurant for 25 minutes before we had our order taken). Very overpriced with lots of hidden costs. We where given bread that we didn't ask for and then charged for it. We ordered the lobster, which was very small, under the impression that we would be paying the price stated on the menu. We where shocked to then be charged double the stated price and told we are paying for the weight rather than the stated price. I can assure you the weight they where claiming to have served was nowhere near the reality of what we received. But how can you prove that? This was obviously planned out to overcharge tourists. When we queried it, all of a sudden a language barrier appeared and they couldn't understand us. They are clearly just taking advantage of tourists. The food was poor, customer service was awful. Read moreWe went to Ulia Playa for paella. On the menu it looked like the price was €20 for the whole pan, but when we got the bill it turned out to be per person. So we ended up paying €40 for one paella, which was never clearly indicated. Honestly, this feels misleading and like a rip-off.
The paella itself was disappointing: the scampi were mushy, the flavor was mediocre, and the starter we ordered was also average. For the amount we paid, the portion was not generous and the quality was far below expectations.
The staff were friendly, but that doesn’t make up for the high price and poor food quality.

Para comenzar han tardado mucho en traer la bebida, nos trajeron antes unos panes con alioli y el aperitivo. Tuvimos que esperar al agua. Queríamos pedir lenguados pero nos comunicaron que justo acababan de pedir los últimos unos comensales de al lado. Sin problema, pedimos la merluza, una a la plancha y una rebozada. Han tardado más de media hora en servirnos cosa que podemos medio entender por la gran afluencia de gente pero lo que han traído es lo que se ve en la foto.
Al llegar el plato de merluza rebozada vimos que eran colas (raro en un restaurante asi) nos ha dado un olor raro y al abrirlo desprendía muy muy mal olor. Estaba en mal estado. Al pedir retirarlo el camarero solo ha dicho que el cocinero no tenia la culpa y que si quería otro pescado. Tras comunicarle que con una merluza como la otra que nos sirvieron me valía vinieron a decirme que no había más merluza pero que ahora si había lenguado (???) Finalmente el lenguado estaba rico (aunque pelin crudo, probablemente fruto de la prisa) y la merluza en buen estado también, pero ni una disculpa, ni un ofrecimiento a un café, nada. Solo que el cocinero no tenia la culpa y como si no hubiera pasado nada. No quisimos más lío, pagamos (porque nos cobraron todo: 50 euros los dos pescados, agua y el pan) pero quizá deberíamos haber puesto una reclamación por esa merluza.
