Summer Paragliding — Attraction in Finestrat

Wow so much to say . Lots of information given to assist traveling to pick up point, suitable clothing, expected return time. Lots of friendly chatting on the journey to the mountains. Complete information on handling, safety, alternative landing areas. A little local history, like a tour guide would do 👍. Lots of joking and friendly talk helping to relax and have full confidence in the safety precautions. This definitely seems better than just being hooked up to the back of a boat by basically anyone and just being dragged into the air with little knowledge. Ground crew checked all equipment and then the pilot checked everything again and even after take off ,the ground crew used a radio to contact us to say if everything looked correct. This was very welcome and helped settle any nervousness, so I could have complete confidence in the organisers 👍. Incredible views. Very strange to look down and see a flying parachute below 👀😁. Tips given to avoid air sickness and to assist turning and landing. Enthusiastic pilot and attentive ground crew just added to my confidence. I was soon in the air, easily with just a little walk and a gentle assent . A moment if butterflies soon passed and the "ye-har" began. I really wanted to just fly off into the distance, it was definitely exhilarating. Some compare it to a roller coaster, I must disagree ! This felt far smoother , less jolts and no bumps. I was disabled for a long time (back injury) but I would have no hesitation to try this again as I felt no discomfort whatsoever !!👍 Smoother than a bike ride and definitely less effort and better views. I can't imagine an easier entrance into this type of sport. I'm so glad I chose this and not parasailing . All to soon it was time to land. Less than perfect position and the pilot just turned around for a better landing, thank you 👍. Then unfortunately we did gently land 😭. No dramas, no cold water or being dragged along the beach. Just softly touched down and the ground crew assisted to ensure it was a perfect landing. A look at the video taken by the organisers meaning we each had our own memories to keep or the amazing views and waving at the others in the landing area. Even a candy 🍬 or two on the way back. This was actually very welcome and helped the mouth return to normal after all the excited screaming 🤣😂. A nice drive through the mountains back to the drop off point, a last chat how to receive the video and we said our goodbyes 😭😭. This was just long enough for my legs to return to normal after turning to jelly 🤣😂. Don't hesitate 👍 get booked and get up there. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a tandem paragliding flight with Juan and his wife Maria, and I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience that left me feeling exhilarated and overjoyed.

From the moment I arrived, Juan and Maria were warm and welcoming, putting me at ease and making sure I was comfortable and prepared for the flight ahead. Juan's knowledge and expertise were immediately apparent as he explained the basics of paragliding and pointed out various landmarks and points of interest in the surrounding area.

Once we were airborne, the feeling of freedom and weightlessness was absolutely incredible. He also performed some thrilling acrobatic maneuvers such as wingovers and ears, which left me gasping in amazement and excitement.

Throughout the entire flight, Juan's professionalism and skill were evident. He always made sure that I felt safe and comfortable, and his enthusiasm and passion for paragliding were infectious. Meanwhile, Maria stayed on the ground to make sure everything was going smoothly and would pick us up from the landing zone if necessary.
