BASEBURGER — Restaurant in Benidorm

The interior is great and I will choose this place over the neighbor's LocaLolita all the day. I'll start from the far end. When you pay by card, a waitress brings a shameful device that begs you to leave tips (yes there is an option not to leave any tips but the idea is that this is supposed to make you feel uncomfortable to choose 0, when there are options 10%, 15% and 20% (!!! 🤣) in the presence of a waitress. We are not in Madrid, a coin or two will be fine, if I carry any. I ordered a Big Jack or something like that and the burger itself was fine 4/5. Problem is, you get only the burger. I mean, I can leave without potatoes, but the ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise MUST always be on the table with free access. Not for 1€ each and brought in the dish to apply with a fork. Do I need to mention there is no Tabasco, and it looks like the staff doesn't even know this name? It's a crime that in the burger oriented restaurant this sauce is not brought by demand in the bottle with unlimited access. These are some funny and strange...

He tenido la oportunidad de comer en este local 4 veces. La primera fue el año pasado, si no me equivoco al poco de inaugurarlo y la verdad q nos sorprendió gratamente, las hamburguesas fueron correctas y el postre que pedimos estuvo bueno (helado y donut). En la segunda ocasión estuvimos cenando y fue bastante regular, la carne de las hamburguesas estaba seca y repetimos postre pero esta vez el donut se les había quemado y no estaba nada bueno. Esto se lo comentamos al camarero cuando nos preguntó qué tal y la verdad esq pareció sentarle mal y x supuesto no tuvo ni un detalle. En la tercera ocasión cenamos y todo volvió a ser correcto. La cuarta vez, y la puntuación principalmente viene de aquí, los camareros fueron un poco cansinos con tomar la comanda, estábamos tres mesas. Una de las hamburguesas les pedimos añadir un extra de bacon y también pedimos un poco de tomate para las patatas. Cuan llegó la cuenta nos habían cobrado por un poco de tomate en un mini tarrito 1€ y por el extra de bacon 2,80€. Me parece un poquito excesivo q una hamburguesa q vale 13€ cobres eso por dos lonchitas de bacon. También me gustaría recalcar q el sistema q tienen de propinas, al pagar con el datáfono, me parece algo agresivo, sinceramente parece una aplicación de delivery. Y quizá lo q más me molestó esq me pusieran una jarra de cerveza con la cerveza medio templada…y q cuando se lo comenté al camarero le entró por un oído y le salió...

Wow what a find! The owner and his team are so warm and friendly. They are all clearly passionate about their business.
