The Bund — Restaurant in Benidorm

Family night out and we fancied a Chinese. Maybe not the best decision for dinner at this place. Now I must say the service at this place is great, as soon as you walk in your greeted and taken to a table. The atmosphere was absolutely terrible, we walked into the restaurant with 1 person sitting at a table. This had me thinking already “is it a bad place?” The music was maybe the only good thing about the atmosphere since it was relaxing. Onto the food, we got a chicken fried rice and a chicken curry with rice. The chicken fried rice didn’t look very appetising and didn’t taste nice. It was dry, bland and quite cold. I think maybe they reheat the food in a microwave. The chicken curry looked awful and did taste awful aswell, I’ve never tasted curry sauce like it in my life! 🤢 the chicken looked slimy and the rice was the same with the chicken fried rice. It’s a Tuesday night in March 2025, I have literally just left this restaurant, The place is dead, only 4 people in, staff are friendly enough but food is just bad, lemon chicken was inedible, didn’t even get a chance to complain as the staff had it whipped away and ran back up the hill , as I write this I am genuinely feeling sick and wish I’d never went into the place.
