The Pizza Factory BENIDORM — Restaurant in Benidorm

While in Benidorm we decided to go out for pizza, we looked at and settled on The Pizza Factory.

This was a mistake we walked with no one to greet us, we sat down and my wife was shouted at from approximately 5 5yards away from where we eating, we replied yes, we ordered some water and reviewed the menu, the previous reviews advised to try the cheesy garlic bread and the pizza.

After a short wait, we were ready to order, we went with the cheesy garlic bread and chicken wings to start, the wings were just warm enough to eat and as for the cheesy garlic bread it's not all it's made out to be it had that much garlic I could have scared any vampires from a mile away, hardly impressive, we were still eating our starters when the main course arrived we ordered lasagne and a pepperoni pizza, note if you want parmesan it's 2 euros extra the pizza and lasagna were dumped on the table, this was to be the last time we saw the server until the bill was requested, there was no salt or pepper on the table, we were not offered any by the server ( a pizza restaurant that does not offer pepper with their food??) as for trying to get attention to ask for some, 3 servers were standing by the bar. The Pizza was the best part of the meal and this is the only thing that can be said, there was no point in complaining as no one came near enough to talk to until the bill was asked for, we were then approached by what looked to be the manager to pay the bill this is the first time we are asked if the meal was OK. All I received was if you had told me I could look at this, however, I explained that this Is is had to do when all they could be seen doing was talking inside and not once were we approached and asked how the meal was, I told the manager the food was mediocre and that the service was some of the worst in Benidorm, I paid the bill and left.

We went 2 times. Once for take out and once to eat there. Too much time waiting for our orders. First time the pizzas were good but the second it was way too greassy... Le waitress made a mistaka in our order and she AND her colleague insisted that we ordered it.. they were unhappy about us saying that we didnt order it and taking it back... We left half of our pizzas and the waitress didnt even bother to ask what was wrong or they could compensate the lack of quality with a dessert or coffee.. i guess its an okay pizza if you're in a hurry and dont mind the extra greassy but...

I don't leave poor reviews often, but it was overpriced and average food. I had a steak which was just under 15 euros. There was not much to it and it was quite fatty. The chips were unremarkable save tasting a bit off. The starter was a bit skimpy and cold, for 7.90 euros that was a disappointment too. Nice enough place and the favourable conversion rate made it a bit more bearable. I would have a good search around before choosing here for steak. The pizzas looked good however. I wish I had chosen one of them instead. Nice...
