After touring Basque country, Asturias, Castille y Leon, we are back in Bilbao.
After enjoying the wonders of the cuisine of these areas, we wanted to have some familiar food in Dumplings.
We saw the reviews but I have to say the friendly service, atmosphere with the jazzy music and authentic way they approach this. Simple but elegant!
The food was exquisite, where the dumplings have the broth flavor explode in your mouth in a good way of course.
We tried the beef, pork and chicken mushroom dumplings. Topped with hand made and cut beef noodles.

Read moreWe ordered the chicken noodle soup with shiitake and the curry with rice. Well, don't make the same mistake. This place is an utterly shameful tourist trap, the food tasted so bland. My German grandma used to make a better curry than this place. They mush potatoes, add some overcooked veggies and give you overcooked rice. The soup was plain as hell, simple broth from the can plus way too few noodles and maybe 2 or 3 mushrooms. Awful. A complete scam for anyone who likes Asian food. We paid 26 euros with our drink. Really don't get the reviews. They seem fake...
Read moreI’ve been living in Bilbao for almost two years and this is by far and away the restaurant that I’ve eaten at most. The dumplings (all), bao (cerdo estofado/braised pork), and beef noodles (which are made in house) are all incredible and are my personal favorites. Everything is so fresh and the new menu items are always popping up are always worth a try. If you haven’t yet the €20 euro set BBQ menu is a MUST!
