We are a family of four who, for religious reasons, have never eaten pork in our lives. We came to this restaurant with high expectations, but the experience turned out to be extremely frustrating and hurtful.
From the beginning, we clearly and repeatedly explained – in German and Spanish, with translation help – that we do not eat pork. Despite this, we were served food that clearly contained pork products: fries with pieces of ham, a mixed grill plate with pork tenderloin and sausages. Each time we asked, we were told “no, this is not pork – you can eat it.”
Only after asking several more times did someone finally admit that the sausages did in fact contain pork – but by then, the juice had already contaminated the entire dish. This felt deeply disrespectful and personally painful.
We felt that we were knowingly misled, which left us feeling humiliated. Although the staff eventually apologized and we didn’t have to pay, that does not undo the damage done on multiple levels.
We strongly advise against visiting this restaurant if you have any dietary restrictions due to religion, health, or ethical reasons. In our case, our needs were made very clear – but they were simply...
Read morePituko a Peruvian fusion restaurant specialised in grilled meat (carnes a la parilla), hamburgers and cocktails. The place was packed. didn't have a reservation, had to wait for a few minutes and the nice young lady served me a table. Menu is simple but great if you are a meat lover and they also serve lovely cocktails. I had the picaña 300 gr comes with a nice salad and fries (no need for me) and 2 salsas. Must say the salsas are the bomb! Had some cocktails so was feeling a bit uzzy haha The service is every good. And the prices are in order. I had a very nice time and enjoyed the music (latin), atmosphere, good food & drinks and friendly relaxed service. What does a person need more?! Simply said Lovely!! and will be back 100% For the friendly Brasilian young lady (Daniella) that served me good luck with your studies y muito obrigado pelo...
