Restaurante La Minerva — Restaurant in Cáceres

Delicious food, good portion sizes at reasonably prices. The restaurant is in a good location, overlooking the beautiful square, Close to the entrance of the old town.

My fiancé and I shared one of the 3 course tapas set menus for lunch and found it to be really excellent value.

The homemade stew was very tasty, and we had the Iberian pork dish with veggies and crispy potatoes which was also very good, plus a local /traditional dessert all for €12.

We got really friendly service from our waitress who spoke a little English which was very helpful as we don’t speak any Spanish.

Beer and Gin & Tonics were generous in size and also reasonably price. Highly...

We had dinner and drinks. The service was very attentive and polite. The food was well presented and delicious. Generous servings and well made. We had iberian ham, homemade croquettes, patatas bravas(the sauce was spicy), salmorejo (delicious), a delicious green salad made with soya sauce, and meat preaa iberica( just right) . Cod with a potato topping, . Fine cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Situated in la plaza mayor. Indoor /outdoor seating. Lovely ambience. The prices were reasonably priced....

I arrived here at dinner time there was an empty table I started reading the menu that was on the table from previous customers. The waitress/owner was very friendly and welcoming cleaning the table off, but when she noticed that I had the menu of the day that was tucked into the menu, she snatched it away and said only regular menu is available. It seems like foreigners are not elligible for the menu of the day in the evening but obviously the previous guests...
