Bar Lorena is situated at the edge of the village, and can therefore be less crowded than other eating places..a good thing in current circumstances. The staff are friendly and helpful, responding to any requests with a smile. Alioli with warm bread was in plentiful supply, but beware, it's very easy to eat more than intended before the generous meal proper. Our group of ten had a mixture of menu del dia, the tapas selection and from the menu. Everything was well cooked and nicely presented. Oh, did I mention the small free tapas between the alioli and the meals? If I have a niggle, it's that more shade would be good. We hadn't been to Bar Lorena for a few months and decided to give it a try for dinner since the terrace is so lovely with great views. The food was gorgeous. I had the salmon fillet and it was cooked really differently, quite crispy on the outside but still really juicy on the inside. Served with a timbal of very tasty kind of morrocan rice and a sliced courgette dish which was amazing - I'm not even that keen on courgettes but I'd love the recipe for this one! Beautifully presented, the food was delicious. Service was great and I did notice that some of the drinks are cheaper than the rest of village. We are definitely going back and soon. Very cozy and nice place. We've been there for several times, and met warm and friendly hosts. The food is so different and delicious, for every taste. The portions are of the fair amount, unlike in many central restaurants, while the prices are totally reasonable. The restaurant is huge.
