Great experience! We had (my interpretation on some ingredients not on the dish title):

For starters...

salmorejo with amontillado jelly, shrimp, apple and anchovies. Very nice take to the traditional version without losing the essence of it.

buñuelos of cod with algae mayo. 4pcs. The buñuelos very rich and coddy. Nice on their own. I did not notice the "sea" flavour in the mayo (colour was nice though ;-) ).

croquettes of jamón 4 pcs. No chance to try. Kids ate everything.

Spicy cooked potatoes with crunchy bacon, pickled chillies, mojo picon, gari and wasabi. Interesting combination.

For mains... Morillo (neck cut) of tuna with crunchy pig cheek and cabbage. Great cut of tuna on its own with the added crunchy touch of the pig. Yummy. Devoured it. Some thought it could do with less lipids in the sauce.

Leg of lamb. Nicely cooked but no added twist. Was shared between two.

Steamed spicy Argentinian meat pies (empanadillas criollas) with sweat and sour sauce. Nicely spicy and a lighter version of the fried ones.

Mogote (loin of loin) glazed in soya and honey on a bed of couscous. Everyone loved it.

Fried piglet leg (cochinillo). At the end of the mains we were absolutely full. We could do with one plate less. We all would unpick this one. The crunchy thin kskin soon became soft, and the taste was nothing extraordinary. We have had piglet in Segovia and have sweeter memories.

To finish off, we had the caramelised torrija with cinnamon ice-cream and soup of tangerine. Very rich and an airy torrija. Shared between four and we had more than enough each. Would like the mandarin flavour a bit more intense and a slightly bigger portion of ice-cream to compensate for the large torrija.

The service was very good. No waiting. Our waiter, Abderhaman took good care of us. Maybe he should have suggested one plate less.

Toilet for the fanciness of the place should be cleaner (people too...).

Price per head roughly 35€ (sharing dishes) with no wine. As I said we were full.

Would repeat and maybe go for the...

While this place is held in high esteem from the reviews on Trip Advisor I felt honestly disappointed. The place is actually big, comparing to most places I been to, and has the staff dressed the same, in a way like a real restaurant is supposed to. I do not think much of the staff that seemed rather bored, lazy and slow in responses. Even though there were only 3,4 people in the restaurant, a huge no for me but I thought I was there a bit early(12:30-13:00 hours) they moved at a very slow pace and they let a young family with child wait for a good time before taking their order. Regarding the tapas I do have some complaints. First of all I think the tapas here are small. I eaten tapas in 20 places in Spain but here they just felt smaller. The price is high. Really 6-8-10 eur for a single tapa? I think that it is just too much. Paying close to 20 eur for tapas is just ridiculous. Now for the taste. Even though this place has hundreds of good review I felt really disappointed. The food was not bad tasting but it was not good either. I think that some ingredients were too much and gave a weird, strange taste to the tapa. Also I waited like forever to receive the two tapas. The restaurant was empty so that couldn’t be an issue. I won’t review this place also but I would never eat here if ever again in Cordoba. I truly believe this place is one of those fake/ inflated places on Trip Advisor and due to places and reviews like these I chose not to contribute anymore...

One of the best tasting menu of my life. My wife and I have been in multiple Michelin star restaurants around the world and we had an outstanding experience at Garum 2.1. We were visiting Cordoba on Jan. 1st and we had the pleasure to enjoy the tasting menu at Garum 2.1. The service was precise and super pleasant, the Garum associate explained all the details of the food courses and they perfectly accomplished our request for a 1:30 experience because we had a tour scheduled later. The food was AMAZING!!! Chef presented multiple small plates and bites playing with different textures and flavors. All the food was delicious, fairly good selection of wines and the best caramel grapa with the dessert.

The entire experience was impecable and the whole staff was friendly, attentive and provided a great moment for us! We will never look at a piece of cheese on the dessert the same way after this experience, congratulation for the...

The Garum Tapas Bar was a positive surprise on our trip to Cordoba. The restaurant offers a good choice of very particular and tasty Andulisian specialties, which you usually do not find in other restaurants. In addition, the wine list contains an excellent selection of regional wines, and the sommelier made a perfect recommendation based on our preferences. The quality and taste of the food were perfect, and the service was kind and courteous. The prices of the plates and the wines are decent, considering their quality. The ambiance is pleasant and contributes to an enjoyable evening. Like any of my reviews, of course, this review is related to the type of restaurant, the restaurant's gastronomic objective, the overall gastronomic quality of the respective city, and the general context and needs to get compared to similar types of restaurants.
