Here’s a lesson the manager and to the entire service staff need to learn, as customer satisfaction or loyalty doesn’t seem to be any of their priorities: if you make a promise to a customer, the expectation is that it will be met. While the subject of the following tale seems trivial, it reveals a fundamental flaw in the manager’s ability to run a restaurant, and how he treats his customers.
We walked in to this restaurant asking to watch a match of the world cup. The waitress and manager told us they would be streaming it, so we waited around for 30 minutes and bought several drinks. When the match started, we noticed they still had not started streaming. We patiently waited - every time we asked them they said “just give us a minute”, so we assumed they would be streaming it soon.
Five minutes in, we missed the first goal. At this point, we turned to the manager and asked him the same question. He blew up at us in Spanish, raised his voice and yelled “no futbol” over and over. We were stunned. He had made a promise to us 30 minutes ago, hence why we had even bothered to walk in and give them our business. Then, when we expressed our discontent, he continued to yell at us and proceeded to bring our race into the discussion, a rather low and shameful move.
We felt that this was a huge waste of our time and could have been handled much better. They clearly only wanted us to purchase drinks and had no intention of misleading us over and over and making false promises.
The manager needs to learn to control his temper when speaking with customers. He also needs to learn how to respect customers, or he shouldn’t be in this line of...

Why this gem does not have at least two Michelin stars and is best of the best in Cordoba eludes me. Kitchen is easily comparable to top notch restaurants in London, Tokyo, New York, Paris. And yes, I have eaten at the best. Kitchen is incredible, head chef knows his trade. Seasoning, quality of ingredients, style, food design, ... there simply is no criticism or weak point. One of the few places I wished I could start my meal all over again. Wine selection is very good as well. Big thanks to Natalia, who was incredibly kind, attentive and friendly with her service. Thinking about visiting Cordoba again just for eating at...
