Jugo Vinos Vivos_Tienda — Restaurant in Córdoba

We were attracted to this little wine shop by the warm glow cast across the little park adjacent. We went for a wine tasting (cata). The host, Gaby, is attentive and knowledgeable about her natural wines. She served some light snacks with each of about five wines (small tasting pours). Cheese, then veggies, chorizo and so on. At one point, Gaby told the two couples at the tasting that her card reader wasn’t working, so we had to pay cash. (Trip to the atm was necessary). And also mentioned at one point that the tasting was ‘expensive’. Had a good time, but certainly did not have a meal. At the end, we were all pretty shocked at the €50 price tag. Per person. So, for a glass of natural wine in a charming setting, I would recommend this intimate space. But for a wine tasting (cata), stick to a bodega if that price...

A lovely cozy spot for delicious wine! The owner was incredibly kind and knowledgable, suggesting wines we would like based on our mood. Reasonable prices for excellent quality drinks. Lovely chilled atmosphere, could easily spend the evening there and we would definitely have gone back if we had time! Wine is sold by the bottle but you can take home what you don’t finish. Great little place and tucked away in such a lovely little spot in a tiny square. So glad I spotted it one night walking past. Very intimate place. We chatted a little with the owner (Gabby I think) and she seems like such a nice person. She picked out a wine for us which was very interesting and enjoyable. She also offered us a plate of jamon and cheese which were great. The atmosphere was just very relaxed and unfussy and we loved it. Disappointed to be missing the wine...
