Fancy trash. Upon reading the positive reviews, I was excited to try this place. The server was nice enough, however the food and drinks left something to be desired. First, the wine and beer tasted watered down and flat. Shrimp in red sauce was plain bad. Shrimp did not taste fresh and had a very fishy taste, while drowning in creamy sauce and vegetables that were soggy from the cream.
Next, fried eggplant was underwhelming and covered with a bit of not very tasty goat cheese and a strange balsamic glaze that didn’t fit well. The calamaritos were mediocre but what killed them was the big cup of mayonnaise that they came with. I’ve seen them with lemon, or maybe tartar sauce, but with plain mayonnaise it was not right at all.
Finally, I had the churrasco (steak) which I was not asked at what temperature it should be cooked. They brought it medium rare, but closer to medium and the cut tasted rather chewy and not prime. It was accompanied by their attempt at French fries, which were just soggy potatoes lazily prepared. If you are going to serve fries, either make sure they are crispy and double fried, which is the real way, or just roast them in the oven and they will come out well. Finally, the steak came with two sauces, one red sauce which was honestly awful tasting, and one olive oil based sauce which was boring.
These guys don’t know how to fry things, from the calamaritos to the eggplant the batter was too light and they did not fry it properly, the French fries made this even more obvious. We skipped dessert because we could not trust them to make that well.
I’m thoroughly disappointed after reading all the sparkling reviews, I was excited for dinner here. Nothing like a poorly prepared meal and a simple lack of effort to leave you dissatisfied. Real Spaniards...

Read moreDo not typically write reviews. We were seated about 9:30 p on a Friday. The most important thing to us is feeling like a long time welcome customer. While very little English was spoken - it was never a barrier. We very much enjoyed all the interaction with staff. They kindly introduced us to Pedro Ximénez after dinner wine😊. We left...
